OFUDESAKI/ CHAPTER 13
Kyomade wa nanika shinpai shita naredo
Asunichi kara wa okwan no michi 13-1
Until today, you have worried about many things.
But from tomorrow a broad path will open.
Imamade wa donna nanju na michisuji mo
Miete aru kara kotowari bakari 13-2
Until now because I foresaw all the paths of hardship,
my words were filled with warnings.
Konosaki wa tashika ukeyau Tsukihi niwa
Donna koto demo abunaki wa nai 13-3
Hereafter as it is God who firmly assures you,
there will be no danger in anything at all.
Dandan to donna hanashi o kiita tote
Sekai tanoshime Tsukihi hataraki 13-4
Whatever talk you hear,
rejoice all the world. God will work.
Korekara wa Tsukihi dekakeru hataraki ni
Nani o suru tomo tare mo shiromai 13-5
The work that God will go forth to do from now on,
perhaps no one knows what will be done.
Nichinichi ni sekai no tokoro misumaseba
Ichiretsu kodomo ijirashii koto 13-6
Day after day, looking throughout the world,
I feel pity for all my children.
Tsukihi niwa dandan donna koto demo na
Tasukeru moyo seku bakari ya de 13-7
God is solely hastening preparations little by little
to save you in anything whatever.
Koremade wa kotowari bakari yute oita
Mo korekara wa kotowari wa nai 13-8
Until now, I have said nothing but warnings (warnings about causality in the Ofudesaki).
From now on, there will be warnings no longer (will receive illness as guidance /weeding/fertilizing to understand the soul).
Kyomade wa nanimo shirazu ni ningen no
kokoro bakari de shinpai o shita 13-9
Until today, being aware of nothing,
you have used only the human mind (greed, arrogance, and self love) and worried yourselves.
Korekara wa kokoro shikkari irekaete
Kami ni motarete Yoki-zutome o 13-10
From now, firmly replace that mind (pure mind).
Lean on God, and do the Joyous Service.
Shitaru nara sono mama suguni shikkari to
Riyaku arawasu kore o mite kure 13-11
When it is done, I shall directly reveal blessings clearly (illness as God’s guidance to bring in new members).
Watch for them.
Kore saika tashika riyaku ga mieta nara
Ato wa itsu demo mina Kanrodai 13-12
If only the blessings are certainly seen,
thereafter all will be the Kanrodai (joyous life) for all time.
Konosaki wa Tsukihi ichido yuta koto
Donna koto demo somuki dekemai 13-13
Hereafter you shall not be able to turn away (ignore)
from whatever words God once says.
Tsukihi yori yutaru koto o kesu naraba
Suguni shirizoku shochi shite iyo 13-14
If you erase the words of God,
I shall withdraw at once. Ponder over it.
Imamade wa uchi mo sekai mo shinjitsu no
Kokoro ni wakari sarani nai node 13-15
Until now, those within and those of the world,
there has been no understanding of the truth of the mind (evil thoughts in relationship to the soul/heart).
Tsukihi niwa daiichi kore ga zannen na
Nanto kore oba sumashitaru nara 13-16
For God, this is the greatest regret.
If I could somehow make your minds purified (if one understands the soul/heart, one could purify the mind).
Kono kokoro doshita naraba wakaru yara
Nandemo iken seneba naran de 13-17
How can I bring understanding to your mind?
In any case I must admonish them (place illness/guidance).
Iken demo chotto no hito dewa nai karani
Oku no mune ga kore wa mutsukashi 13-18
This admonition is not just for a few people.
As it concerns the hearts of so many, it is indeed difficult.
Ika hodoni mutsukashi koto to yuta tote
Meme no kodomo iken suru zo ya 13-19
However difficult it is said to be,
I shall admonish my children one and all.
Kono moyo doshita naraba yokaro zo
Nandemo Kami no zanen arawasu 13-20
This preparation, what is the best way to accomplish it?
By all means, I shall show the regret of God.
Nichinichi ni Kami no mune niwa dandan to
Hokori ippai tsumori aredomo 13-21
Day by day, much dust gradually
piles up and fills the heart of God.
Kono hokori soji suru no wa mutsukashii
Tsutome nari tomo kakaritaru nara 13-22
This dust is difficult to sweep away.
But if you only perform the Service.
Kokoro sai shinjitsu Kami ga uketoreba
Donna hokori mo soji suru nari 13-23
If only your minds are truly accepted by God (when performing the service),
I shall sweep away any dust whatever.
Ichiretsu no mune no uchi sai sukiyaka ni
Soji shitateta koto de aru nara 13-24
If only the innermost hearts of all humankind
are swept clean quickly,
Sorekara wa sekaiju wa ki ga isamu
Yokizukume ni hitori naru zo ya 13-25
Then the whole world will be spirited
and joyousness will come of its own accord. (due to the positive energy from the soul/heart).
Shikato kike takayama nitemo tanisoko mo
Mireba Tsukihi no kodomo bakari ya 13-26
Firmly listen, from the high mountains to the low valleys,
I see no one but God’s children.
Ningen mo ichiretsu kodomo kawaikaro
Kami no zannen kore omote kure 13-27
You human beings must all love your children.
From this, please think of the regret of God.
Koremade wa dono yona koto o mita totemo
Kami no ho niwa jitto mite ita 13-28
Until now, no matter what God had seen,
God only looked on, keeping still.
Konotabi wa mo hi ga tsunde aru kara na
Donna koto demo mina yu hodoni 13-29
This time, as the day has passed,
I shall speak out on everything, whatever it may be.
Tsukihi niwa sekaiju o miwatasedo
Moto hajimari o shirita mono nashi 13-30
Though God looks all over the world,
there is no one who know the beginning of the origin of mankind.
Kono moto o dozo sekai e oshietasa
Sokode Tsukihi ga arawarete deta 13-31
Desiring to teach this origin to the world by all means (purity of mind),
therefore, God has become revealed.
Konotabi no Tsukihi zanen to yu mono wa
Yoi naru koto de nai to omoe yo 13-32
About the regret of God at this time,
know that it is not a small matter.
Tsukihi niwa kono shinjitsu o sekaiju e
Doshite nari to oshietai kara 13-33
God desires to teach this truth throughout the world
by all means.
Sore shirazu Tsukihi yu koto mina keshite
Ato wa ningen gokoro habikaru 13-34
Unaware of it, you erase all the words of God,
and all that remains is rampant human thinking.
Konosaki wa Tsukihi no zanen ripuku o
Mina harasu de na kore ga shochi ka 13-35
Hereafter, I shall clear away all the regret and anger of God.
Are you pondering this?
Tsukihi nimo zanen rippuku harashitara
Ato wa mezurashi michi o tsukeru de 13-36
When God clears away the regret and anger,
Afterwards, I shall make a marvelous path.
Kono michi wa doyu koto ni omou kana
Yorozu tagaini tasuke bakari o 13-37
What do you think this path is to be?
It is solely about the mutual salvation of everyone (everyone helping each other and praying with the Joyous Service)
Sekaiju tagaini tasuke suru naraba
Tsukihi mo kokoro mina hikukeru 13-38
If all the world comes to help one another (pray joyous service),
God will accept all your minds.
Tsukihi nimo kokoro hikiuke suru kara wa
Donna koto demo hataraki o suru 13-39
If God accepts your (early followers) minds (prayer/ joyous service with pure mind)
I shall work in all matters whatever (begin to bring new members).
Hataraki mo doyu koto ni omou kana
Zen to aku to o wakeru bakari ya 13-40
What do you think this working is to be?
It is solely to distinguish between good and evil (if one has dust in mind).
Kyomade wa donna akuji to yuta tote
Waga mi ni shirita mono wa arumai 13-41
Until today, whatever wrongdoing there is said to be,
perhaps none of you has known of it on the body.
Kono kokoro Kami ga shinjitsu yute kikasu
Mina ichiretsu wa shiyan shite kure 13-42
This mind , God will truly tell and inform you.
Ponder over it, all of you and come.
Sekaiju ichiretsu wa mina kyodai ya
Tanin to yu wa sarani nai zo ya 13-43
All of you throughout the world are brothers and sisters.
There should be no one called an outsider.
Kono moto o shiritaru mono wa nai node na
Sore ga Tsukihi no zanen bakari ya 13-44
That there is no one who knows this origin .
That is the reason for God’s regret.
Takayama ni kurashite irumo tanisoko ni
Kurashite irumo onashi tamahii 13-45
Those living in the high mountains and those living in
the low valleys, their souls are all the same.
Soreyori mo dandan tsukau dogu wa na
Mina Tsukihi yori kashimono naru zo 13-46
Furthermore, the instruments you use daily
are all things lent by God.
Sore shirazu mina ningen no kokoro dewa
Nando takabiku aru to omote 13-47
Unaware of this, the thought in the minds of all human beings
is that there are the high and the low.
Tsukihi niwa kono shinjitsu o sekaiju e
Dozo shikkari shochi sashitai 13-48
By all means, God desires to make the truth of this matter
clearly understood to the whole world.
Kore saika tashikani shochi shita naraba
Muhon no ne wa kirete shimau ni 13-49
If only this is clearly understood,
the root of rebellion will be cut off.
Tsukihi yori shinjitsu omou takayama no
Tatakai saika osametaru nara 13-50
God sincerely desires only to end the wars
among those on the high mountains.
Kono moyo doshita naraba osamaro
Yoki zutome ni detaru koto nara 13-51
By what means can they be ended?
If only you set forth on the Joyous Service.
Kono kokoro tare ga yu towa omouna yo
Tsukihi no kokoro bakari naru zo ya 13-52
This mind, do not wonder who it is directed toward.
It is only from one that becomes like God’s mind (pure mind).
Kono Tsutome takayama nitewa mutsukashii
Kami ga shikkari hikiuke o suru 13-53
It is difficult to do this Service because of the high mountains,
but God gives you firm assurance.
Konotabi wa donna koto demo shinjitsu ni
Tashika ukeya hataraki o suru 13-54
This time in all matters, I shall truly give you
my firm assurance and shall work (bring new members to our churches).
Kami ga dete sekaiju o hatarakeba
Donna Tsutome mo kowami nai zo ya 13-55
When God goes forth and works throughout the world,
there will be nothing to fear in doing any Service.
Shikato kike takayama ya tote tanisoko o
Mamani shirareta koto de aredomo 13-56
Listen, though the high mountains, boastful,
have done as they pleased to the low valleys.
Korekara wa Tsukihi kawari ni deru hodoni
Mamani shiyo nara sureba shite miyo 13-57
From now on, God will change things and go out (God will place guidance).
Let them try to do as they please.
Imamade to nanika monku ga chigau de na
Korekara saki wa Kami no mama ya de 13-58
Everything will be different from what it has been until now.
From now on, it will be as God intends.
Tsukihi yori amakudari taru kokoro na
Nanno koto yara tare mo shiromai 13-59
Perhaps no one knows the intentions of God
in descending from Heaven.
Daiichi wa ryuke tsukuru o tasuketasa
Koe ichijo o oshietai kara 13-60
First to help those who grow crops (increase church membership/to spread the truth).
I desired to teach you on the matter of the fertilizer (Joyous Service).
Koe demo na doshite kiku to omouna yo
Kokoro o Kami ga uketorita nara 13-61
Do not wonder why the fertilizer (Joyous Service) is effective.
If only God accepts your mind (pure mind).
Imamade wa shinjitsu Kami ga yute aredo
Uchi kara shitemo utagau bakari 13-62
Though God has been speaking the truth until now,
even those within only have doubts.
Konotabi wa nani o yutemo utagau na
Kore utagaeba Tsukihi shirizoku 13-63
This time, do not doubt whatever I say.
If you have doubt, God will withdraw (prayer not effective, and no weeding).
Kono koto wa akudoi hodomo yute oku
Kore utagaeba makoto kokwai 13-64
I repeat this to you tediously.
If you doubt, it will be truly frightening.
Tsukihi yori ichido yute oita koto
Itsu ni naritemo chigau koto nashi 13-65
What God has once said
will never become false through all time.
Imamade wa Tsukihi nani goto yuta tote
Mina utagote yuikesu bakari 13-66
Until now, all of you have only doubted whatever God said,
always erasing it by your words.
Tsukihi niwa daiichi kore ga zannenna
Nandemo kore o shikato kimeru de 13-67
For God, this is the greatest regret.
I shall correct this matter by all means.
Korekara wa Tsukihi yu koto nani goto mo
Somukan yoni Kami ni motare yo 13-68
From now on, you must not turn away
from whatever God says. You must lean on God.
Shitaru nara Kami no ho nimo shinjitsu ni
Tashika hikiuke hataraki o suru 13-69
If it is done, God shall truly give you firm assurance
and shall work (pray/Joyous service to receive new members).
Tsukihi niwa kora hodo kudoki tsumeru kara
Kokoro chigaeba suguni shirizoku 13-70
As God persuades you to such a degree,
if your mind is in error, I shall withdraw at once (prayer not effective).
Shinjitsu ni kokoro ni makoto aru naraba
Donna tasuke mo chigau koto nashi 13-71
If your mind is truly sincere,
there will never be a failure in any salvation (will get new members).
Konosaki wa ryuke no koe o chigawan yo
Dozo shikkari shochi shite kure 13-72
Hereafter in order that there be no failure in the fertilizer (Joyous Service)
for the crops (new members), please understand me clearly.
CHAPTER 13 PART 2
Kyokara wa Tsukihi no omou koto oba no
Dono yona koto mo mina Yuikakeru 13-73
From today, God’s thoughts and everything about God
will all be told.
Imamade mo taite hanashi mo toitaredo
Tsukihi omowaku mada yute nai 13-74
Though even until now I have told you almost everything,
I have not yet told you God’s intentions.
Korekara wa donna hanashi o shitaru tomo
Kore o kanarazu uso to omouna 13-75
From now on, whatever talks I may give,
never think that they are positively false.
Dono yona koto o yu yara shiren de na
Tsukihi no kokoro sete iru kara 13-76
There is no knowing what I shall say,
for the mind of God hastens.
Kono kokoro doyu koto ni omou kana
Nihon mo kara mo tenjiku made mo 13-76
This mind, what do you think I am thinking about?
They are about Nihon, Kara, and Tenjiku.
Kono aida michinori yohodo aru keredo
Ichiya no ma nimo hataraki o suru 13-78
Though there are many leagues in between,
I shall work even in a single night.
Kono hanashi ningen nanto omote iru
Tsukihi kashimono mina waga kodomo 13-79
What are you humans thinking of this talk? Your bodies are
things lent by God and you are all children of mine (God can place illness because God lends us our bodies).
Itsumade mo Tsukihi jikkuri shite ireba
Itsu ni naritemo osamaru me nashi 13-80
So long as God keeps still,
when ever, there will be no hope of settling .
Soreyue ni Tsukihi dekakeru hataraki ni
Doko e deru yara shirita mono nashi 13-81
Therefore, God will go forth to work (bring new members to our churches).
There is no one who knows where I shall go.
Sekaiju kokoro sumasu to yu kara wa
Chotto no koto ya to sarani omouna 13-82
I say that I shall purify all minds throughout the world.
Never think of it as a small matter.
Dono yona koto demo meme mune no uchi
Sumashite naraba abunaki wa nai 13-83
In whatever matters, if the innermost heart of each of you
is purified, there will be no danger (due to positive causality).
Dandan to Tsukihi Nichinichi omowaku wa
Oku no hito o matsu bakari ya de 13-84
Day after day, the thought of God is only to wait
for a large number of people to come to me (new members).
Kono hito o doyu koto de matsu naraba
Ichiretsu waga ko Tasuketai kara 13-85
The reason I am waiting for these people
is that I desire to save all of my children in this world.
Kotoshi niwa donna Mezurashi michisuji ga
Miete kuru yara kore shiren de na 13-86
You cannot know what a marvelous path
will come into sight this year.
Kuchi saki de nanbo shinjitsu yuta tote
Tare ka Kikiwake suru mono wa nai 13-87
This talk, No matter how I truly tell you previously
there is no one who understands (tells in Ofudesaki).
Soreyue ni Tsukihi Konotabi dono yona
Koto mo shinjitsu mina shite miseru 13-88
Therefore, God will at this time
show the truth for you in all matters
Kono yona koto o shitaru mo ningen no
Kokoro majiru to sarani omouna 13-89
Whatever I do, never think
that there is any human mind mixed in it.
Tsukihi niwa amari shinjitsu mikaneru de
Sokode dono yona koto mo suru no ya 13-90
God cannot bear to look on any longer.
That is why I shall work in all matters.
Ika hodono goteki tarumo wakaki demo
Kore o tayori to sarani omouna 13-91
However strong or youthful you may be,
never think that such a condition is reliable (illness may change it).
Konotabi wa Kami ga omote i arawarete
Juyojizai ni hanashi suru kara 13-92
At this time, God is openly revealed
and speaks about free and unlimited working (guidance).
Dono yona koto mo shinjitsu suru kara wa
Mune no uchi yori hitori sumikiru 13-93
As I shall work in truth in all matters,
From what comes from the innermost heart, one will be purified.
Imamade wa ichiretsu wa mina ningen no
Kokoro bakari de shiyan shitaredo 13-94
Until now, all humankind has been pondering
only with the selfish human mind.
Konotabi wa dono yona koto mo ningen no
Kokoro shiyan wa sarani iran de 13-95
This time, there is no need at all
to ponder with the selfish human mind on any matter.
Nanimo kamo dono yona koto mo yute oku
Nani o yutemo uso to omouna 13-96
I shall tell you any and everything.
Whatever I say, never take it to be false.
Takayama de dono yona mono ga habikaru mo
Kono shinjitsu o tare mo shiromai 13-97
Whatever kind of people may be rampant
on the high mountains, they do not know this truth (truth of the mind and soul).
Tsukihi niwa donna tokoro ni iru mono mo
Mune no uchi oba shikato mite iru 13-98
Wherever you may be,
God clearly sees your innermost heart clearly.
Mune no uchi Tsukihi kokoro ni kanotara
Itsu made nari to shikato funbaru 13-99
If your innermost heart accords with the mind of God(heart has no dusts),
I shall exert myself in your favor forever.
Tsukihi yori Nichinichi kokoro sekikomedo
Soba no kokoro ni wakari nai node 13-100
The mind of God hastens day after day.
Yet there is no understanding in the minds of you close to me.
Sekikomi mo nanino koto ya to omou kana
Ryuke tsukureba mizu ga hoshikaro 13-101
What do you think my hastening is about?
If you grow crops (members), you may be in need of water (sincerity/pure mind). (If you want church members to increase, you may need sincerity in your prayer).
Kono hanashi mina ichiretsu no kokoro niwa
Nanto omote shiyan shite iru 13-102
This talk, everyone’s mind,
With what thoughts are you pondering over this talk?
Tsukihi niwa daiichi kore o tasuketasa
Sokode dono yona koto mo yu no ya 13-103
God desires first to help you in your needs.
That is why I speak of all things whatever.
Nanimo kamo Tsukihi ika hodo kudoitemo
Makoto ni kiite kureru mono nashi 13-104
No matter how God tries to persuade you of all matters,
no one listen to my words as the truth.
Soreyue ni Tsukihi no zannen rippuku ga
Yamayama tsumori kasanarite aru 13-105
Therefore the regret and anger of God
have piled up like a mountain (we need action to understand God’s teachings).
Imamade wa tsukihi kitaran Soreyue ni
Jitto shiteita koto de aredomo 13-106
Until now, as the month and day has not yet come,
I have been keeping still.
Konotabi wa mo hi ga tsunde aru kara na
Donna shigoto mo hayaku kakaru de 13-107
This time, as the time has passed,
I shall quickly begin any work whatever.
Konosaki wa dono yona michi ga aru totemo
Hito o uramina waga mi urami ya 13-108
Hereafter on whatever path you may find yourself (suffering),
never bear a grudge against others. Reproach yourself.
Kono hanashi doko no koto tomo yuwan de na
Takayama nitemo tanisoko made mo 13-109
This talk is not for a particular place,
it is for the high mountains as well as the low valleys.
Dono yona koto o yu mo tasuketasa
Sokode iroiro kudoki tsumeta de 13-110
Everything I say is from my desire to save you.
That is the reason for my various and repeated persuasions.
Konosaki wa nani o yutemo dono yona
Koto demo ashiki koto wa yuwan de 13-111
Hereafter know that in whatever I say
and in whatever matters, I say nothing evil.
Shinjitsu no tasuke bakari o seku karani
Sokode Dandan iken shita no ya 13-112
The reason I admonished you step by step (weeding)
is only that I hasten for your true salvation.
Shinjitsu ni kokoro sumashite sono ue wa
Tasukeru moyo hayaku oshieru 13-113
Once your mind has become truly purified,
I shall quickly teach you the means to salvation (the joyous service).
Kono tasuke doyu koto de aru naraba
Hoso sen yono mamori tsutome o 13-114
To explain what this salvation is about,
it is the service for the protection against smallpox (illness).
Mata tasuke Yamazu shinazu ni yowaran no
Shoko mamori o hayaku yaritai 13-115
awaiting salvation to quickly give you protection
from illness, death, and weakening.
Nanimo kamo yorozu tasuke o seku karani
Kokoro shidai ni donna koto demo 13-116
As I am hastening universal salvation,
I shall work in all matters according to your mind.
Ichiretsu wa mina meme no mune shidai
Donna koto oga kanawan de nashi 13-117
All human kind, everything depends on the heart of each of you.
There is nothing that cannot be realized.
Amagoi mo imamade Kami ga shinjitsu ni
Nanimo yutaru koto wa nakeredo 13-118
About the prayer for rain,
though God has not said anything yet in truth,
Konotabi wa dono yona koto mo shinjitsu o
Tazune kuru nara mina yute kikasu 13-119
This time if you come truly inquiring to me,
I shall tell you all the truth of all matters.
Tsukihi niwa nani kanawan to yuwan de na
Mina meme no kokoro shidai ya 13-120
Whatever it may be, God will never say that it cannot
be realized. It all depends on the mind of each of you.
Summary: Chapter 13
God says early followers have worried, but God says a new path will open shortly
God sees the dangerous path of mankind (Causality, innen, Karma).
God will begin to save the world.
God assures you, there will be no danger at all.
Up to now God only warned the early followers (Ofudesaki), but now he will give illness as guidance.
God tells the followers to purify their minds and pray (Joyous Service). When this is accomplish, God will provide blessings. Watch for them. What are these blessings? God will bring new members to our churches.
If you erase the words of God, God will withdraw and not give guidance.
God telling early followers that they and the world does not understand the original pure mind. This is God’s regret. How will God release his regret(negative energy)?
God says there are many people that have dusts (evil) in their minds. How can God sweep these evils away or release his regret.
God will begin to work to remove his regret. God will enter people, and distinguish their minds. He will place illness (blessings) to guide them to remove these evils from their minds.
But before God works, the early followers must pray (Joyous Service) with a pure mind to bring upon God’s blessings of guidance to those who are near.
It is said that if people do not take action on these illness placed as guidance, God may withdraw and not guide them.
If the whole world purifies their mind, everyone will become spirited: and by the effects of Causality (innen, karma), joy will occur.
If the early followers help each other and prays(Joyous Service), God will begin to distinguish evil and good in the minds of those near them. God will guide them by placing illness dependent on their minds. They will come to the places of worship to be healed by the early followers. This will occur beginning in 1887.
God says that the souls of everyone is equal. There is no high or low; and the instrument we use (bodies) are lent to us by God.
God says that all wars will end if the Joyous Service is performed with a pure mind.
God tells the followers not to fear in praying (Joyous Service). He will protect us.
In the past, those who opposed the followers had boasted and ordered the followers, but in the future, things will change.
God asks if anyone knows why God descended from heaven. God tells us he descended from heaven to tell mankind why he created the world. God wants to spread the truth of heaven. He wants the membership to grow, and he refers to members as crops. God wants to harvest a large crop. He calls our prayer (Joyous Service) the fertilizer. When we perform and spread our service with a pure mind, God promises to bring people near us to our places to worship. We cure them of any illness that God placed as guidance; and teach them of God’s truths. This is how God’s truth are spread to the world. When all mankind is purified, the world will have everlasting joy.
God tells the early followers not to have doubt, and erase the words of God. If one opposes God, God says he will withdraw from the person, and not guide the person any more. This will result in the failure of the prayer.
God promises there will be no failure in the prayer (Joyous Service) if the mind is pure.
Summary: Chapter 13 part 2
God telling the early followers that he will work throughout the world, in purifying their minds.
When the minds are purified, there will be no danger due to causality, innen or karma.
Human beings have only been thinking with selfish minds; they have no understanding of the original pure mind.
God tells the early followers that if they want to spread the truth, they will need a pure mind to pray. If you want crops, you will need water.
God has been keeping quiet since now, but he can not bear it any more. God will begin to work to purify mankind.
God telling the early followers that he will help remove greed, arrogance, self-love from their minds. God will place illness on their bodies so they can ponder the evils in their minds.
Once the minds of the early followers are pure, God teaches them the prayers to save mankind. These are prayers prevent and cure diseases. By this process, new members arrive at the places of worship.
God says that everything can be realized, if we have a pure mind.
