OFUDESAKI/ CHAPTER 9/  1875

Imamade wa nani o yutemo ningen no

Kokoro no yoni omote itaredo 9-1

Until now, whatever I said,

You thought it had come from the mind of a human being.

Konotabi wa nani o yutemo ningen no

Kokoro aru towa sarani omouna 9-2

This time whatever I may say,

Never think it comes from a human mind.

Dono yona koto demo shikato kiite kure

Ningen gokoro sarani mazen de 9-3

Please listen closely to whatever I say.

Never is there mixed the least bit of a human mind.

Tsukihi yori dono yona koto mo shikkari to

Yuikakeru de na kore kiite kure  9-4

God is going to tell you clearly about all matters.

Listen to me please.

Tsukihi yori yashiro to naru o futari tomo

Betsuma hedatete oite morotara 9-5

I desire that the two persons (Oyasama and Kokan) to become the shrines of

God, each be given  separate special rooms.

Nani yu mo soreyori shikato ukeyote

Tasuke suru zo ya shikato mite iyo 9-6

Whatever is said, will be completely assured and salvation given.

Watch closely.

Konosaki wa dono yona tasuke suru no mo na

Mina ukeyau no moto de aru kara 9-7

This time, whatever salvation is done,

Everything will be assured because the Origin exists.

Kono yona koto o yutemo kesan yo

Tashika kikisumi shochi shite kure 9-8

Do not disregard anything I say.

Listen closely and comply with it please.

Konosaki wa donna mutsukashi yamai demo

Mina ukeyote tasuke suru zo ya 9-9

Hereafter however serious the illness may be,

I assure you salvation in every case.

Ningen ni yamai to yute nai keredo

Kono yo hajimari shirita mono nashi 9-10

Though there should be nothing called illness in human beings,

there is no one who knows about the beginning of mankind.

Kono koto o shirashitai kara Dandan to

Shuri ya koe ni isha kusuri o 9-11

Because of my desire to have you know this, gradually

Illness (guidance) brought upon by weeding and fertilizing, doctors and medicine will be effective to cure them(if pondering occurs/   Medical therapy part of God’s blessings).

Korekara wa nanika yorozu o mina toku de

Donna koto demo shikato kiku nari 9-12

From now on, I shall teach you everything about all matters.

Listen closely to whatever I say.

Koremade mo taite hanashi mo toitaredo

Mada yute nai shinjitsu no koto 9-14

Though even until now I have taught most of my teachings,

There remains a truth yet untold.

Kyokara wa dono yona koto o yu yara na

Tsukihi no kokoro makoto sekikomu 9-14

What do you think I shall say from today on?

The mind of God truly hastens.

Nichinichi ni nani sekikomu to yu naraba

Tsukihi tobideru moyo bakari o 9-15

What is it that I hasten day after day

God’s preparation to go out only  (get new members).

Kono hanashi shikkari kiite shochi seyo

Donna koto oba suru ya shiren de 9-16

Listen closely to this talk and ponder over it .

There is no knowing what I shall do.

Konosaki no michi no yodai shikkari to

Kikiwakete kure Tsukihi tanomi ya 9-17

Please understand well what I say about the conditions

of the path ahead. This is the request of God.

Tsukihi yori tobideta koto o kiita nara

Kanrodai o hayaku dasu yo 9-18

When you hear about God rushing out,

quickly bring out the Kanrodai. (praying toward the Origin, which helps God determines the sincerity of the prayer to receive God’s blessings of new members to be saved from illness).

Kanrodai sueru tokoro o shikkari to

Jiba no tokoro o kokoro zumori o 9-19

Prepare your minds for the place of the Jiba, (without greed , arrogance, miserliness, covetousness  and self love directed at the Kanrodai),

the place where the Heavenly Dew Stand is to be set up.

Kore saika tashika sadamete oita nara

Donna koto demo abunaki wa nai 9-20

If only this (Kanrodai) is surely settled and placed (when all mankind is purified),

there will be no danger in anything at all.

Tsukihi yori tobideru tokoro choto hanashi

Takai tokoro ya toi tokoro i 9-21

Just a word on where God will rush out,

to the high and the distant places (places where the teachings are not known).

Sono hanashi kiitaru naraba ichiretsu wa

Nanto Tsukihi wa erai mono ya to 9-22

When people hear of this talk,

Everyone will say how remarkable God is.

Sekaiju mina Dandan to yu de aro

Sono hi kitareba mune ga hareru de 9-23

Step by step, everyone in the world will speak of it.

When that day comes, the hearts will be swept.

Imamade wa sanju Hachi nen izen kara

Mune no zannen makoto kinodoku 9-24

From thirty eight years ago until now,

the regret in my heart, how unfortunate it is. (1876)

Konotabi wa dono yona koto mo shikkari to

Mina ichiretsu ni shirasu koto nari 9-25

At this time, I shall make all things

clearly known to everyone in the world.

Shirasuru mo nani shirasuru to omou kana

Moto naru Oya o tashika shirasuru  9-26

What do you think it is that I shall make known?

I shall make the Origin becoming Parent clearly known.

Kono yona koto o yuikake shirasuru mo

Nanno koto yara tare mo shiromai 9-27

Though I begin to speak to make such a thing known,

Perhaps no one knows what it is about.

Kono yo o ichiretsu naru ni shinjitsu o

Tasuketai kara shirashi kakeru de 9-28

This world, because of my desire to save everyone,

I begin to make the truth known.

Imamade ni tasuke oba suru kara wa

Moto o shirasan koto ni oite wa 9-29

Now that I shall work salvation unknown until now.

It is necessary to make the Origin known.

Imamade mo shiranu koto oba oshieru wa

Moto naru Oya o tashika shirasuru 9-30

To teach you things unknown until now,

I shall make the Origin beginning Parent(Oyasama) clearly known.

Moto naru no Oya o tashikani shirita nara

Donna koto demo mina hikiukeru 9-31

When you come to know the Origin beginning Parent clearly,

I shall give you my assurance on anything whatever (prayer becomes effective because one will have pure mind as compared with Oyasama’s mind).

Kono hanashi tare ga yu towa omouna yo

Tsukihi no kokoro bakari naru zo ya. 9-32

Do not wonder whom this talk is directed toward.

It is toward those that will become like God’s mind (pure mind).

Yorozuyo no sekai ichiretsu miwatase yo

Yamai to yu mo iroiro ni aru 9-33

Looking all over the world and through out all ages,

You will find many kinds of so called illnesses.

Konotabi wa donna mutsukashi yamai demo

Ukeyote tasuke kaden oshieru 9-34

This time no matter how serious the illness may be

I shall teach you the family recipe for your assured salvation.

Korekara wa tashikani yakumi yute kikasu

Nani o yutemo shochi shite kure 9-35

From now on I shall tell you clearly about the ingredients.

Please ponder over whatever I say.

Konotabi no nayamu tokoro wa tsurakaro

Ato no tokoro no tanoshimi o miyo 9-37

This time, the suffering at this place must be trying (Kokan’s illness)

But look at the promise of the other place (Ojiba).

Sakiyori ni seeippai ni kotowari ga

Yute aru zo ya shiyan shite miyo 9-37

Before it happened (Kokan’s illness), I had given you

as much notice as possible. Ponder over it.

Dono yona koto o suru nimo saki i yori

Kotowarite ue kakaru shigoto ya 9-38

In whatever I do, I give you notice (Ofudesaki) of it beforehand

and then begin my workings.

Kono hanashi doyu koto ni omou kana

Tsukihi juyo shirashitai yue 9-39

What do you think of this talk?

God want you to know the free and unlimited workings (want to know his guidance/illness).

Shinjitsu ni kono ichijo o hayabaya to

Tsukihi no kokoro sete iredomo 9-40

Though the mind of God sincerely hastens

to have you know this one truth quickly.

Soba naru ni ika hodo Tsukihi tanondemo

Kikiwake ga nai nanto zannen 9-41

No matter how much God pleads with you that are close to me,

No one recognizes it.  How regretful.

Dono yona koto o yutemo ima no koto

Nani o yu towa sarani omouna 9-42

Whatever I say, never think

That I am again speaking about things in the present.

Dandan to nanino hanashi o suru nimo na

Saki naru koto o bakari yute oku 9-43

Whatever I may tell you step by step,

It is solely about things, which are to be.

Korekara wa nanino hanashi o suru naraba

Kanrodai no hanashi ichijo 9-44

To say what I shall speak about from now on,

It will be solely about the Heavenly Dew Stand.

Ima naru no Kanrodai to yu no wa na

Choto no shinagata made no koto ya de 9-45

What is called the Heavenly Dew Stand at the present time

is but a mere model.

Korekara wa Dandan shikato yute kikasu

Kanrodai no moyo bakari o 9-46

From now on, I shall teach you clearly step by step

solely about the preparation for the Heavenly Dew Stand.

Kono dai o sukoshi horikomi sashiwatashi

San jaku ni shite rokkaku ni seyo 9-47

Make the base of this stand three shaku across and six sided

with a mortise at its center.

Imamade ni iroiro hanashi toitaru wa

Kono dai sueru moyo bakari de 9-48

Until now, I have taught you various things,

But they are all preparations for setting up this stand.

Kore saika shikkari suete oita nara

Nanimo Kowami mo abunaki mo nai 9-49

If only this stand has been put firmly in place, (all mankind have to be purified in mind)

There will be nothing fearful or dangerous.

Tsukihi yori sashizu bakari de shita koto o

Kore tometa nara waga mi tomaru de 9-50

Should anyone dare to stop what God orders,

one’s body will be stopped.

Kore o mite makoto shinjitsu kekko to

Kore wa Tsukihi no oshie naru ka yo 9-51

When you see it you will be truly satisfied

And know that God’s teaching are indeed marvelous.

Kono dai ga deketachi shidai tsutome suru

Donna koto demo kanawan de nashi 9-52

As soon as this stand is completed, the Service will be done.

Nothing will remain that cannot be realized.

Kono dai mo itsu dose to yuwan de na

Deketachita nara tsutome suru zo ya 9-53

About this stand, I do not say when or how (when all mankind is purified),

but when it is completed the service (Joyous Service) will be done.

Kore saika Tsutome ni kakari deta naraba

Nani kanawan to yu de nai zo ya 9-54

If only this Service is begun,

nothing will remain that cannot be realized.

Kore o miyo tashikani Tsukihi jikimotsu no

Atae shikkari tashika watasuru 9-55

Watch, God will surely bestow the Gift,

the food of heaven, without fail.

Dona yona koto demo tashika shinjitsu no

Shoko nakeneba ayaukii koto 9-56

In whatever matters, unless there is clear proof of the truth (Original mind/Kanrodai),

It should remain questionable.

Korekara wa dono yona koto mo Dandan to

Komakashiku toku kore somukuna yo 9-57

From now on, I shall teach you everything

in detail step by step. Do not go against my words.

Kono hanashi nani o yu ya to omouna yo

Kanrodai no moyo ichijo 9-58

Do not wonder what it is I am saying.

It is solely about the preparation for the Heavenly Dew Stand.

Kono dai mo Dandan dan to tsumiagete

Mata sono ue wa ni shaku shi sun ni 9-59

This stand is to be made one block atop another.

The uppermost is to be two shaku and four sun.

Sono ue e hirabachi nosete oita nara

Soreyori tashika jikimotsu o yaro 9-60

Place a flat vessel on top,

and I shall surely bestow the food of heaven (only when all mankind is purified).

Jikimotsu o tare ni ataeru koto naraba

Kono yo hajimeta Oya ni watasuru 9-61

On whom do you think the food of heaven is to be bestowed?

It is to be bestowed to the Parent (Oyasama) who began this world.

Ten yori ni atae o morau sono Oya no

Kokoro o tare ka shirita mono nashi 9-62

There is no one who know the mind of the Parent

who is to receive the Gift from Heaven (no one has a pure mind).

Tsukihi yori tashikani kokoro misadamete

Soreyori watasu jikimotsu no koto 9-63

After God surely ascertains that mind (all mankind purified)

Then the food of heaven will be bestowed (there will be heaven on earth).

Tsukihi niwa kore o watashite oita nara

Ato wa Oya yori kokoro shidai ni 9-64

Once God has bestowed it,

The rest is up to the mind of the Parent (The joyous life for everyone).

Summary Chapter 9

God talking about Oyasama and Kokan as the shrine of God.

God saying that because the origin (Oyasama) exist, any sincere prayer will be assured.

However serious the illness is, God can save you because the parent (Oyasama) exist. One must have a pure mind.

There remains a truth untold. God says he has plans to go out to save all mankind (occurs 1887)

God tells people when they hear that God will go out, they should bring out the temporary Kanrodai (erected at the site of the original creation of mankind). They will need this shrine to pray.

God says that everyone must know about the parent (Oyasama) who began mankind. God compares the sincerity of the prayer’s mind with the pure mind of Oyasama.

God tells everyone that they must have a pure mind like Oyasama’s. If they do have one, their prayer will be assured.

God says that he will tell us how to prevent illnesses.  Illness comes from the mind.

God explains the illness of Kokan. Kokan, one of the shrines of God was away from the residence. God asks the people around Kokan to ponder that she return to the original residence where mankind was created.  God again reminds people that he warns first, and then begins to work.

God tells the people that they do not understand God’s free and unlimited blessings. People do not know why Kokan is sick. God resides at the residence, where mankind was created.

God says that he talks about what will be in the future. He talks about the Kanrodai (shrine of God). The Kanrodai is a concrete stand that will be built at the original location of man’s creation. It will be built when all mankind is purified.  The temporary stand is made of wood now. The Kanrodai is a stand symbolizing the original mind of the parent, and where our prayers are directed toward.  God promises that the sincere prayers directed toward the Kanrodai will be answered in 1887.

God tells us how to make the Kanrodai at the location of the origin of mankind.

When all mankind is purified, God tells us that the Kagura Service (Joyous Service) will be performed. All the ten instruments (incarnation) at the creation will perform this.  God will then bestow blessings to Oyasama. Oyasama will then bestow it to all mankind. There will be joy everywhere.
