The world’s mind, all I will make spirited.

Those in high places the mind spirited, will come because
when will they come, the appointed time has come.

The tea trimmed, later harvested, and if grounded,
What follows later, the Joyous Service.

This Service, where do they come from, you think (who’s mind is the service talking about when we pray and chant, “Evil sweeping, save them please”).

Step by step, God’s protection it is said
marvelous (new) things will all begin (illness as guidance by the Joyous Service or illness of followers by weeding).

Day by day, the mind of God hastens.
All everyone, what are you thinking?

Whatever happens, illness and pain, furthermore are nonexistent. (Talking about illness given as guidance only)
These are God’s hastening, guidance to occur.

(Tsutome no ninju) (hoshii koto kara) 2-8 7-7
Also the hastening, why will it occur if one were to say.
Because the members of the Service are desired is the concern.

This Service, what do you think it is about?
all salvation, the preparation only.

This salvation, about only now, do not think.
This is forever. The Divine record will occur (prayer still works today)

Just a little talk, dizziness and madness, it is said.
Illness it is not. It is God’s hastening.

is to explain and inform you. But you still do not understand (directed to early followers).

Quickly, thinking to go out, thinking
There is no path; I want to go out, but can’t (Kanrodai location not identified yet to direct prayer toward).

This path, quickly to install, I am thinking,
Other places, installing place there is none. (the early followers have to purify their minds to locate the Kanrodai, the location of the original mind so they can direct their prayers).

This path (path of heart/Broad path) if you truly think about it.
From what comes from the innermost heart, all ponder ( the soul reminds one of the dusts in the mind by manifesting sufferings. When one ponders and not act on these evil thoughts when suffering occurs, the mind becomes more pure).

This talk, what is it about, you are thinking.
God’s residence, the location I am hastening for(God talking to early followers to find God’s residence by having a pure mind to locate where to place Kanrodai the location of the original mind. This purification of the mind is done by pondering what comes from the heart/soul, and not acting on the evil thoughts).
(Kono michi ga) (choto miekaketa) (koto naraba) 5-7-5
(sekai no kokoro) (mina isami deru) 2-17 7-7
When this path (path of the heart) can be easily seen. When this happens,
the world’s mind will all become spirited.

(Yashiki no soji) (deketa koto nara) 2-18 7-7
Whatever happen, what God says, listen firmly.
If the cleaning (making the minds pure) of the Residence is completed. (Occurs either 1875 (Kanrodai located) or 1887 (Oyasama passes away).

(Yume mita yoni) (hokori chiru zo ya) 2-19 7-7
It will be seen without time to look aside, because
like seeing a dream, the dust will disappear!

This dust is completely swept, When this occurs (Jan 26, 1887 ),
afterwards there will be only universal salvation.

Hereafter, little by little, the Service, I shall hasten(by placing illness),
saving all, the preparing only.

In the world, where illness and pain are,
they are God’s road sign. With guidance, I will let you know.

In this world, illness that is said, does not exist.
disorders within the body, all ponder over it.

Day after day, God is hastening this salvation.
All everyone what are you all thinking about?

The high mountain’s pond gushes the water,
At its spout, mud it is mixed with (pure mind of God mixed with evil of greed, arrogance, self love,etc.).

(Sundaru mizu to) (kawari kuru zo ya) 2-26 7-7
Step by step, when you calm the mind and ponder, (pondering over illness and misfortune /Calm mind of greed, arrogance, miserliness, covetousness, and self love, and do not take action on these evil thoughts),
clear water, It will change into. (pure mind). Like the water that is agitated with particles, when no movement occurs, the particles settle to the bottom, leaving pure water at the top.
(Yama naka no) (mizu no naka i) (to irikonde) 5-7-5 waka
(Ika naru mizu mo) (sumasu koto nari) 2-27 7-7
In the mountain, into the water, I shall go into (minds of the people that don’t know God),
Whatever kind of water (minds), I will make it pure (after the Joyous service).
(Nichinichi ni) (kokoro tsukusuru) (sono kata wa) 5-7-5
(Mune o osame yo) (sue wa tanomoshi) 2-28 7-7
Day by day, the mind is resolving (evil thoughts disappearing). That person,
the heart (soul) is settling (restored without dust). The future is promising (due to positive energy of the heart/soul bringing upon joy and no negative energy).

(Ikana gomoku mo) (soji suru nari) 2-29 7-7
After this, the high mountain’s pond, I shall plunge into.
Furthermore, whatever mud (evil thoughts) I will sweep.
(Gomoku sai) (sukiyaka dashite) (shimota nara) 5-7-5 waka
(Ato naru mizu wa) (sunde aru nari) 2-30 7-7
The mud, quickly If only the mud is removed completely,
the remaining water (mind) will become clear.
(Korekara wa) (kara to nihon no)( hanashi suru) 5-75 waka
(Nani o yu tomo) (wakari arumai) 2-31 7-7
From now on, kara snd nihon, talk I will do (not a pure mind/do not understand the heart/soul) and nihon (pure mind/ understand the heart/soul).
However, what I say, there is no understanding.

The towns people (kara), nihon’s land, they have entered,
and their willful acts are God’s anger.

Step by step, saving nihon, the preparation,
To the town’s people, I will do as I please.

Hereafter, kara and nihon, to distinguish them.
If this is understood, the world will settle.
(Imamade wa) (kami taru kokoro) (wakaraide) 5-7-5 waka
(Sekainami ya to) (omote ita nari) 2-35 7-7
Until now, the high mountains mind did not understand.
Worldly teachings, they thought.

(kokoro sumiyaka) (wakete miseru de) 2-36 7-7
From now on, God, inside the body will enter.
the mind quickly distinguish and show them (place illness according to their mind /only after our Joyous Service prayer).

(Yueba dandan) (naomo masu de) 2-37 7-7
Day by day, the people who come, you inform them (after the Joyous service).
To say, step by step their numbers will increase (the prayer brings members to our churches).

(Nanimo anjina) (Kami no hikiuke) 2-38 7-7
No matter how great a number of people may come,
do no worry, for it is God’s undertaking.

(Kore ga nihon no) (osamari to naru) 2-39
Marvelous, this world beginning Central Pillar,
This is nihon’s settling to become.
(Takayama ni) (hii to mizu to ga) (miete aru) 5-7-5 waka
(Tare ga me nimo) (kore ga mien ka) 2-40 7-7
In the mountain, fire and water can be seen (God placing illness after the Joyous Service to kara).
Whoever with their eyes, this you cannot see?
(Dandan to) (ikana hanashi mo) (toite aru) 5-7-5 waka
(Tashikana koto ga) (miete aru kara) 2-41 7-7
Step by step, whatever matter it has been explained,
certainly this matter has been seen.
(Shiyawase o) (yoki yoni tote) (jubun ni) 5-7-5 waka
(Mi ni tsuite kuru) (kore o tanoshime) 2-42 7-7
Look forward to only going through total happiness.
It will come upon the body. This is joy.
(Nanimo kamo) (goyoku tsukushi) (sono ue wa) 5-7-5
(Kami no rippuku) (miete kuru zo ya) 2-43 7-7
In any matter, greed comes upon you, upon that,
God’s anger, you will come to see.

(Zen to aku towa) (mina arawareru) 2-44 7-7
Gradually from the fifteenth day, it will be seen.
Good and evil, all will be revealed.

(Miete kitareba) (mina tokushin se) 2-45 7-7
By this talk, any place in particular, I do not say.
When it is seen, all will be convinced.

Among the high mountains, the people of nihon and town’s people,
the preparation to distinguish them, this also is the Pillar (Joyous service directed to the Pillar where the original mind/God is ) (God compares the prayer’s mind with the original mind of the pillar, to see if he would give the prayer the blessings of guidance to kara)

(Hi to mizu to o) (irete wakeru de) 2-47 7-7
The town’s people and Nihon in distinguishing between,
fire and water (illness) will be placed to distinguish them (illness/guidance placed on kara).

Summary of chapter 2/ Both chapter one and two may be a summary of the complete Ofudesaki?
God says that those in the high mountains will come to the residence (Ojiba) in the future. The time has come. They will come to be saved. (1887)
After the minds of the early followers become pure, the prayer (Joyous Service) will follow.
God says that the service is intended for the people in the high mountains. Evil sweeping, save them please. God will bring them to the residence to be saved.
God tells the early followers that he is preparing them to perform the service. This is why he has entered in them, and is guiding them with illness. God is hastening the prayer by guidance of the early followers.
God says he has warned the early followers, but they still cannot understand. This is why he has entered in them to guide them. When they ponder their illness, they will be healed, and continue to purify their minds.
God telling early followers that he wants to go out to save mankind, but he cannot because there is no path. The location of the origin of mankind has not been located. The early followers have to purify their minds to find this location. The Kanrodai will identify the location of human creation, and also will serve as the Shrine of God in the future (1887).
Message to the early followers to prepare the Residence(church) where the truth is conveyed. This is done by purifying their minds and locating the exact location where the first humans were created. This location signifies the original pure minds of the first couple, and the residence of God on earth. This location has not been found as of 1869. An hexagonal structure (Kanrodai) will be placed to signify this location when it is found. This location will be identified in 1875.
When the early followers become pure in mind in their prayers, God will then enter the bodies of the people in the high mountains, and begin guiding them by distinguishing their minds. God will place illness (fire and water) on their bodies as guidance. This will be only possible when the prayer (Joyous Service) by the followers is accepted by God.
God helps the early followers by warning them by the Ofudesaki (Tip of the Writing Brush) when their thoughts are wrong, and also guides them with illness when the warnings are not accepted. This helps them purify their minds. God tells the early followers to calm their minds and ponder, especially when illness or sufferings occur as God’s guidance.
God is preparing for January 26 1887, when the Joyous Service becomes effective. This is when Oyasama returns to the original location (Kanrodai), and with God begins to work to save mankind. The location of the original pure mind has not been located as of 1869. When the location is identified, a temporary hexagonal structure will be built (Kanrodai). This location is where our prayers will be directed toward.
When the Joyous Service is performed with a pure mind toward the Kanrodai, God promises he will bring new members to our place of worships. This will happen January 26, 1887.
God will enter and place illness (fire and water) in distinguishing the minds of the people in the mountains when the Joyous Service is performed with a pure mind by the early followers. These people will come spiritedly to be healed.
The prayer must be directed toward the Kanrodai for God to accept our sincere prayer. This specific location not yet located as of 1869 due to the impure minds of the early followers.
When all mankind is purified, God promises that all mankind will have joy.
note: Oyasama was the Shrine of God, which means that God was inhabiting her body. People directed their prayer in the direction of Oyasama. It is said that God then compared the mind of the prayer with Oyasama’s mind. If there was sincerity, God gave out his blessings. The location of the prayer changed on January 26, 1887 when Oyasama passed away, and her soul returned to the location of the Origin (Kanrodai), where God resides on earth. This is why we pray toward the Kanrodai after January 26, 1887.
Opinion: The day January 26, 1887 is very important for the spreading of God’s truth, because Oyasama (shrine of God) was often hidden to protect her from the authorities (police) or was often taken into custody. This prevented people from praying to God. But when her soul transferred to the location of the original pure mind (Kanrodai), everyone in the world now has access to God.
