OFUDESAKI/ CHAPTER 9/  1875 TENRIKYO

(Imamade wa) (nani o yutemo)(ningen no)

(Kokoro no yoni) (omote itaredo) 9-1

Until now, whatever I said, human beings’

mind only you thought it came from.

(Konotabi wa) (nani o yutemo) (ningen no)

(Kokoro aru towa) (sarani omouna) 9-2

This time whatever I may say, human beings’

mind it is, never think.

(Dono yona) (koto demo shikato) (kiite kure)

(Ningen gokoro) (sarani mazen de) 9-3

Whatever matter, firmly listen please.

Human mind, never will it be.

(Tsukihi yori) (dono yona koto mo) (shikkari to)

(Yuikakeru de na) (kore kiite kure ) 9-4

From God about whatever matters, clearly will

tell you. Please come and listen to this.

(Tsukihi yori) (yashiro to naru o) (futari tomo)

(Betsuma hedatete) (oite morotara) 9-5

From God, the Shrine to become two person, both

given separate rooms. If this is put in place and served….

(Nani yu mo) (soreyori shikato) (ukeyote)

all will be accepted, because the Origin exist (pure mind of the Origin).

Hereafter, however serious the illness may be,

all will be accepted. I will save you?

In human beings, illness to say is nonexistent but

This world beginning, there is no person who knows.

(Kono koto o) (shirashitai kara) (dandan to)

(Shuri ya koe ni) (isha kusuri o) 9-11

This matter, to let you know, step by step

to weed and fertilize, doctors and medicine given.

(Korekara wa) (nanika yorozu o) (mina toku de)

(Donna koto demo) (shikato kiku nari) 9-12

From now on, everything, all will be explained.

whatever matter, Listen closely.

(Koremade mo) (taite hanashi mo) (toitaredo)

(Mada yute nai) (shinjitsu no koto) 9-14

Until now, my explained talks have been explained.

But not yet said,  matter of truth exist.

(Kyokara wa) (dono yona koto o) (yu yara na)

From today, on whatever matter, I will say to explain.

God’s mind is truly hastening.

Day by day, what hastening am I talking about?

God will go out, this preparation only.

(Kono hanashi) (shikkari kiite) (shochi seyo)

This talk, clearly listen. Ponder over it.

Whatever God does, you do not know.

(Konosaki no) (michi no yodai) (shikkari to)

(Kikiwakete kure) (Tsukihi tanomi ya) 9-17

Hereafter, the condition of the path, firmly

recognize and come, God requests.

(Tsukihi yori) (tobideta koto o) (kiita nara)

(Kanrodai o) (hayaku dasu yo) 9-18

When God, rushes out, when it occurs,

The Central Pillar, quickly put it out.

(Kanrodai) (sueru tokoro o) (shikkari to)

(Jiba no tokoro o) (kokoro zumori o) 9-19

The Central Pillar’s  installation location, firmly

at the location of the Jiba, prepare your mind.

(Kore saika) (tashika sadamete) (oita nara)

(Donna koto demo) (abunaki wa nai) 9-20

This quickly, (the mind) surely settled, if this occurs

Whatever matter, there will be no danger.

(Tsukihi yori) (tobideru tokoro) (choto hanashi)

(Takai tokoro ya) (toi tokoro i) 9-21

From God , the location to where to rush out, a little talk about.

To the high places and the far places.

(Sono hanashi) (kiitaru naraba) (ichiretsu wa)

(Nanto Tsukihi wa) (erai mono ya to) 9-22

That talk, when it occurs, everyone (will say)

How God, is remarkable.

(Sekaiju) (mina Dandan to) (yu de aro)

(Sono hi kitareba) (mune ga hareru de) 9-23

To the world, everyone gradually will speak of it.

When that day comes, the hearts will be swept (cleared).

(Imamade wa) (sanju Hachi nen) (izen kara)

(Mune no zannen) (makoto kinodoku) 9-24

Until now, from thirty eight years ago,

the regret of the heart, truly unfortunate it is.  (1876)

(Konotabi wa) (dono yona koto mo) (shikkari to)

(Mina ichiretsu ni) (shirasu koto nari )9-25

At this time, about whatever matters, clearly

to all of everyone, I shall make known.

(Shirasuru mo) (nani shirasuru to) (omou kana)

(Moto naru Oya o) (tashika shirasuru)  9-26

To make known, what is it to be known are you thinking.

The Parent of the Origin, (I) certainly will make known.

(Kono yona) (koto o yuikake) (shirasuru mo)

(Nanno koto yara) (tare mo shiromai) 9-27

These matters (I) talk to make you understand.

What is the matter. There is no one who knows.

(Kono yo o) (ichiretsu naru ni) (shinjitsu o)

(Tasuketai kara) (shirashi kakeru de) 9-28

This world, to everyone it will happen. Truly

because I wish to save, I will begin to inform you.  

(Imamade ni) (nai tasuke oba) (suru kara wa)

(Moto o shirasan) (koto ni oite wa) 9-29

Until now, nonexistent salvation, God will do

The Origin must be known. The matter if it is put in place.

(Imamade mo) (shiranu koto oba) (oshieru wa)

(Moto naru Oya o) (tashika shirasuru) 9-30

Until now, the things known, God will teach.

The Origin becoming Parent I will certainly let you know.

(Moto naru no) (Oya o tashikani) (shirita nara)

(Donna koto demo) (mina hikiukeru) 9-31

The Origin becoming Parent, certainly if known

In whatever matter, I shall all guarantee.

(Kono hanashi) (tare ga yu towa) (omouna yo)

(Tsukihi no kokoro) (bakari naru zo ya) 9-32

This talk, who is it talking to, do not think.

God’s mind, to only one who would become like it.

(Yorozuyo no) (sekai ichiretsu) (miwatase yo)

(Yamai to yu mo) (iroiro ni aru) 9-33

Through all ages, the world, everyone, look at it.

Illness to say, there are various (illness)

(Konotabi wa) (donna mutsukashi) (yamai demo)

(Ukeyote tasuke) (kaden oshieru) 9-34

This time whatever serious illness there may be,

the accepted salvation, the ingredient I will teach

(Korekara wa) (tashikani yakumi) (yute kikasu)

(Nani o yutemo) (shochi shite kure) 9-35

From now on, clearly the ingredients, I will inform and tell you.

Whatever I say, ponder and come.

(Konotabi no) (nayamu tokoro wa) (tsurakaro)

This time, the suffering at this place must be trying (Kokan’s illness)

The previous place (Ojiba), look at  how promising it is.

(Sakiyori ni) (seeippai ni) (kotowari ga)

Is said to have occurred. Ponder over it and look.

This talk, what matters are you thinking?

God’s blessings, to understand it I say.

(Shinjitsu ni) (kono ichijo o) (hayabaya to)

(Tsukihi no kokoro) (sete iredomo) 9-40

Truly, this assistance (blessings) if it quickly occurs.

God’s mind hastens to put it (Kanrodai) in.

(Soba naru ni) (ika hodo Tsukihi) (tanondemo)

(Kikiwake ga nai) (nanto zannen) 9-41

Those who will be near me, No matter how much God pleads,

there is no recognition. How regretful.

Whatever I say, concerning present matters

whatever I say about, furthermore do not think.

(Dandan to) (nanino hanashi o) (suru nimo na)

(Saki naru koto o) (bakari yute oku) 9-43

Step by step, Whatever talk (I) will also do,

the matters that will occur in the future, only will be said.

(Korekara wa) (nanino hanashi o) (suru naraba)

(Kanrodai no) (hanashi ichijo) 9-44

From now on, whatever talk, I will do

about the Central Pillar, is the only talk.

(Ima naru no) (Kanrodai to) (yu no wa na)

(Choto no shinagata) (made no koto ya de) 9-45

At present, the becoming Central Pillar is said to be

a mere model. It is not completed.

(Korekara wa) (dandan shikato) (yute kikasu)

(Kanrodai no) (moyo bakari o) 9-46

From now on, step by step clearly, to tell you  and make you listen

This Pillar, as soon as completed, the Service will be done

In whatever matters, nothing cannot be realized.

About this stand, when it will be done,  I do not say,

but when it is completed, the Service (Joyous Service) will be done.

This quickly, the Service if begun, If this appears,

nothing cannot be realized, I would not say.

(Kore o miyo) (tashikani Tsukihi) (jikimotsu no)

(Atae shikkari) (tashika watasuru) 9-55

Watch this, surely God the food from heaven

will firmly grant, certainly it would be bestowed.

(Dona yona) (koto demo tashika) (shinjitsu no)

(Shoko nakeneba) (ayaukii koto) 9-56

In whatever matters, unless there is clear

Proof of the truth (Original mind/Kanrodai), It should remain questionable.

(Korekara wa) (dono yona koto mo) (dandan to)

(Komakashiku toku) (kore somukuna yo) 9-57

From now on, whatever matters, step by step

I shall explain in detail. Do not disagree with this.

(Kanrodai no) (moyo ichijo) 9-58

This talk, what are you talking about, do not think.

then certainly, the food of heaven will be given.

The food of Heaven, who is it given to, if this occurs.

This world beginning parent, it will be bestowed to.

(Ten yori ni) (atae o morau) (sono Oya no)

(Kokoro o tare ka) (shirita mono nashi) 9-62

From heaven, the gift to be received to (Oyasama), that parent’s

mind, there is no one who knows.

(Tsukihi yori) (tashikani kokoro) (misadamete)

(Soreyori watasu) (jikimotsu no koto) 9-63

From God, when the firm (pure) minds are ascertained,

then it will be bestowed. This is about the food from heaven.

(Tsukihi niwa) (kore o watashite) (oita nara)

(Ato wa Oya yori) (kokoro shidai ni) 9-64

From God, when this is bestowed, when it occurs

afterward it is up to the Parent, dependent on the mind.

Summary Chapter 9

God talking about Oyasama and Kokan as the shrine of God.

God saying that because the origin (Oyasama) exist, any sincere prayer will be assured.

However serious the illness is, God can save you because the parent (Oyasama) exist. One must have a pure mind.

There remains a truth untold. God says he has plans to go out to save all mankind (occurs 1887)

God tells people when they hear that God will go out, they should bring out the temporary Kanrodai (erected at the site of the original creation of mankind). They will need this shrine to pray.

God says that everyone must know about the parent (Oyasama) who began mankind. God compares the sincerity of the prayer’s mind with the pure mind of Oyasama.

God tells everyone that they must have a pure mind like Oyasama’s. If they do have one, their prayer will be assured.

God says that he will tell us how to prevent illnesses.  Illness comes from the mind.

God explains the illness of Kokan. Kokan, one of the shrines of God was away from the residence. God asks the people around Kokan to ponder that she return to the original residence where mankind was created.  God again reminds people that he warns first, and then begins to work.

God tells the people that they do not understand God’s free and unlimited blessings. People do not know why Kokan is sick. God resides at the residence, where mankind was created.

God says that he talks about what will be in the future. He talks about the Kanrodai (shrine of God). The Kanrodai is a concrete stand that will be built at the original location of man’s creation. It will be built when all mankind is purified.  The temporary stand is made of wood now. The Kanrodai is a stand symbolizing the original mind of the parent, and where our prayers are directed toward.  God promises that the sincere prayers directed toward the Kanrodai will be answered in 1887.

God tells us how to make the Kanrodai at the location of the origin of mankind.

When all mankind is purified, God tells us that the Kagura Service (Joyous Service) will be performed. All the ten instruments (incarnation) at the creation will perform this.  God will then bestow blessings to Oyasama. Oyasama will then bestow it to all mankind. There will be joy everywhere.
