(Ato saki shireta) (koto wa arumai) 5-1
Until now, horses and cattle that is said, this condition exist.
The past and future (lives), one does not know this matter.
(Konotabi wa) (saki naru koto o) (kono yo kara)
(Shirashite oku de) (mi ni sawari miyo) 5-2
This time, your future becoming matter, from this lifetime
I shall make it known. Look at the disorder of your body.
(Kono yo wa) (ika hodo waga mi) (omotemo)
(Kami no rippuku) (kore wa kanawan) 5-3
In this world, however much one self, you think about.
God’s anger, this will not come true.
(Meme ni) (waga mi shiyan wa) (iran mono)
(Kami ga sorezore) (miwake suru zo ya) 5-4
Each of you, concern over oneself, you do not need.
God will each distinguish you.
(Hito yashiki) (onaji kurashite) (iru uchi ni)
(Kami mo hotoke mo) (aru to omoe yo) 5-5
Person’s residence , living the same, within the home.
bad also and good also exists. Think about it.
(Kore o mite) (ikana mono demo) (tokushin se)
(Zen to aku to o) (wakete miseru de) 5-6
If you see this, any kind of person will be convinced.
Good and evil, I will distinguish and show.
(Kono hanashi) (mina ichiretsu wa) (shiyan seyo)
(Onaji Kokoro wa) (sarani arumai) 5-7
This talk, all everyone ponder over it.
The same mind, furthermore does not exist.
(Oyako demo) (fufu no naka mo) (kyodai mo)
(Mina meme ni) (Kokoro chigau de) 5-8
Even between parent and child, husband and wife, and siblings,
all individual minds differ.
(Sekaiju) (doko no mono towa) (yuwan de na)
(Kokoro no hokori) (mi ni sawari tsuku) 5-9
To the world, to any person wherever, I do not say it.
The dust of the mind, causes harm to the body.
(Minouchi no) (nayamu koto oba) (shiyan shite)
(Kami ni motareru) (kokoro shiyan se) 5-10
Within the body, the suffering matter, God says to ponder.
Accepting God (leaning on God), the mind, ponder it.

Whatever kind of difficult things, I have said,
God’s blessing quickly I want to show.

Until now, God’s blessings, the truth
there is no one, furthermore that knows.
(Korekara wa) (ikana mutsukashi) (yamai demo)
(Kokoro shidai ni) (naoran de nashi) 5-13
From now on, whatever difficult illness may be
depending on the mind, incurable it is not.
(Shinjitsu n0) (Kokoro o Kami ga) (uketoreba)
(Ikana juyo) (shite miseru de na) 5-14
True sincerity of the mind, if God accepts it,
any blessing I will show you.
(Kora hodono) (Kami no shinjitsu) (kono hanashi)
(Soba naru mono wa) (hayaku satore yo) 5-15
This is God’s truth, this talk.
Those who will be close to me, quickly understand.

This quickly, understanding comes,
whatever happens, all is about this Service.

Until today, whatever kind of matter, I have never hastened
But now I hasten you to a broad path (path of the heart).

(Kore matsudai no) (koki hajimari) 5-18
This path, worldly, do not think.
This forever, the divine record, I will begin.
(Kono ninju) doko ni aru towa) (yuwan de na)
(Minouchi sawari) (mina kuru de aro) 5-19
These member (for the Service), where are they, do not say.
Disorders of the body, they will all come.
(Kono sawari) (tebiki iken mo) (rippuku mo)
(Mina meme ni) (shiyan shite miyo) 5-20
These disorders are from my guidance, objection and also anger.
All each of you, ponder and look at it.
(Kono hanashi) (nanto omote) (kiite iru)
(Kawai amarite) (kudoku koto nari) 5-21
This talk, what are your thoughts on hearing it?
Strong love for you, warnings will appear.
(Dono yoni) (iken rippuku) (yuta tote)
(Kore tasuken to) (sarani yuwan de) 5-22
Whatever, objection and anger (God’s) that is said to occur,
This I cannot save (you), furthermore I will not say.
(Ningen no) (waga ko no iken) (omote miyo)
(Hara no tatsu no) (mo kawai yue kara) 5-23
Human’s own children, the objection to them, think about it.
The true motive’s action comes from love.
(Shiyan shite) (Kokoro sadamete) (tsuitekoi)
(Sue wa tanomoshi) (michi ga aru zo ya) 5-24
Ponder, settle your mind and come along.
The future, a promising path exist.
(Imamade wa) (Kokoro chigai wa) (arita tote)
(Hi ga kitaran de) (miyurushite ita) 5-25
Until now, the mind mistaken (dusts) existed.
The day has not come, I have been only looking.

(Soji o suru de) (mina shochi seyo) 5-26
This time, by all means, the innermost heart

The innermost heart to sweep, that is said.
God’s intention, because it is strong.
(Kono soji) (sukiyaki shitate) (sen koto ni)
(Mune no shinjitsu) (wakari nai kara) 5-28
This sweeping thoroughly accomplished, must be done.
The truth of the heart, because there is no understanding.
(Kono kokoro) (shin kara wakari) (tsuita nara)
(Kono yo hajimari) (te o tsukeru nari) 5-29
This mind, from the Original mind, if understanding comes
This world’s beginning hand you will make (perform the Service).
(Chikamichi mo) (yoku mo koman) (nai yoni)
(Tada hitosuji no) (honmichi ni deyo) 5-30
Short cuts, greed, arrogance, not to have.
Just the true main path, to go out.
(Kono michi ni) (tsuitaru naraba) (itsu made mo)
(Kore Nippon no) (koki naru no ya) 5-31
This path when it is completed, forever
this, Nihon’s divine record it will become.
(Nihon nimo) (koki ga deketa) (koto naraba)
(Nandemo kara o) (mamani suru nari )5-32
To Nihon, when the divine record is completed,
In everything to Kara, I will do as I please. (illness as guidance)
(Kono yo o) (hajimete kara no) (shinjitsu o)
(Mada imamade wa) (yuta koto nashi) 5-33
This world’s beginning’s since I began it, the truth
until now, I have not spoken.
(Kono hanashi) (mutsukashi koto de) (aru keredo)
(Yuwazu ni ireba) (tare mo shiran de) 5-34
This talk will be difficult matter
but if it is left untold, no one will know.
(Dandan to) (dono yona koto mo) (yute kikasu)
(Kokoro shizumete) (shikato kiku nari) 5-35
Step by step, what kind of matter, I will explain.
The mind calmed, listen closely.
(Imamade wa) (ika naru ho to) (yuta tote)
(Mo Korekara wa) (ho wa kikan de) 5-36
Until now, there has been talk about various magical rites.
From now on, magical rites shall have no effect.
(Koremade wa) (edasaki nitewa) (ho nazo to)

Until now, Kara and nihon are said.
From now on in the future, only nihon.
(Edasaki wa) (oki ni miete) (akan mono)
(Kamaeba oreru) (saki o mite iyo) 5-42
The branches (kara) may look big, but they are weak.
and break when handled. Watch the future (saying that the people will change to nihon).
(Moto naru wa) (chiisai yo de) (ne ga erai)
(Dono yona koto mo) (moto o shiru nari) 5-43
The Origin beginning may seem small, but the root is great.
In all things know the Origin (pure mind of God).
(Jitsu ya) (tote ho ga erai to) (omouna yo)
(Kokoro no makoto) (kore ga shinjitsu) 5-44
Incantations or magical rites are great, do not think.
True sincerity, this is the truth.
(Ningen wa) (azanai mono de) (aru karani)
(Mezurashi koto o) (ho naz to yu) 5-45
Human beings are shallow people because
marvelous things, magical rites , they say.

(Mada shinjitsu o) (shireta mono nashi) 5-46
Until now, God has revealed and gone out
but yet the truth, there is no one who knows.
(Konosaki wa) (dono yona koto mo) (shinjitsu o)
(Oshiete oita koto de) (aru nara) 5-47
Hereafter, what kinds of matters , truly
it has been taught, it exist. (warnings given out)
(sorekara, wa) (Kami no hataraki) (nanimo kamo)
(juyojizai o shite) (miseru de na) 5-48
After that, God’s work, whatever
blessing will be done and shown.
(Shinjitsu no) (Kami no hataraki) (shikaketara)
(Sekai ichiretsu) (Kokoro sumikiru) 5-49
The true God’s work is quickly begun,
the world everyone, their minds will settle.
(Hataraki mo) (ika naru koto to) (omou kana)
(Kokoro uketori) (shidai kayashi o) 5-50
Workings to do, what’s going to happen you are thinking.
The mind accepted, returns are dependent on it.
(Kono kayashi) (nanino koto ya to) (omou kana)
(Michinori sen ri) (hedate aritemo) 5-51
This return, what are your thoughts.
The distance of one thousand leagues, it will distinguish.
(Kono koto wa) (nani o yutemo) (omotemo)
(Uketori shidai) (suguni kayashi o) 5-52
This matter, whatever they say or think.

These things, if they are seen, everyone
whoever, all will be made perfectly clear.
(Kyonohi wa) (nani ga mieru ya) (nai keredo)
(Hachi gatsu o) (miyo mina mieru de na) 5-56
Today, though nothing is seen yet,
The eight month, look forward, all will be seen.
(Mieru no mo) (nanino koto yara) (shiremai na)
(Takai yama kara) (okwan no michi) 5-57
Being able to see, what kind of things, you do not know.
From the high mountains, the broad path.
(Kono michi o) (tsukeyo tote ni) (shikoshirae)
(Soba naru mono wa) (nanimo shirazu ni) 5-58
This path, I have been trying to make, preparing for it.
Those who will be close to me, they do not know
(Kono toko e) (yobi ni kuru no mo) (detekuru mo)
(Kami no omowaku) (aru kara no koto) 5-59
This place, inquiring to come or appearing
God’s intention exist.
(Sono koto o) (nanimo shirazu ni) (soba naru wa)
(Sekainami naru) (koto o omote) 5-60
That matter, they do not know. Those who will become close,
Worldly matters to become they are thinking.

(Nanika mezurashi) (michi ga aru zo ya) 5-61
Whatever happens, worldly matters, do not think
What marvelous path there is.
(Dandan to) (kono yo hajimete) (hi wa tatedo)
(Tare ka shinjitsu) (shirita mono nashi) 5-62
Step by step, this world’s beginning day has passed.
No one, the truth, knowing person does not exist.
(Ika hodoni) (Kami no kokoro wa) (seta tote)
(Mina no kokoro wa) (mada ukkari to) 5-63
No matter, God’s mind hastens,
All minds, are yet inattentive.
(Hayabaya to) (shiyan shite mite) (sekikome yo)
(Ne horu moyo) (nande shiteden) 5-64
Quickly ponder and see, hasten it!
Preparing to dig the root, why are you not doing it.
(Kono yo) (no shinjitsu ne no) (horikata o)
(Shiritaru mono wa) (sarani nai node) 5-65
This world’s true root (Original mind), the digging
knowing person, there does not exist.
(Kono ne o) (shinjitsu horita) (koto naraba)
(Makoto tanomoshi) (michi ni naru no ni) 5-66
This root, If you have truly dug it up (the original pure mind),
Truly promising path it will become.
(Kono michi o) (horikiri tori) (nuketa nara)
(Kami shimo tomoni) (kokoro isamu ni) 5-67
This path, when you have dug through and extracted it,
both the high and the low’s mind’s will be spirited.
(Korekara wa) (nandemo sekai) (ichiretsu o)
(Isameru moyo) (bakari suru zo ya) 5-68
From now on, whatever, the world everyone
the preparation to purify, only will I do.
(Dandan to) (nani goto nitemo) (nihon niwa)
(Shiran koto owa) (nai to yu yoni) 5-69
Step by steep, whatever happens, to nihon
unknown things, does not exist to say
(Nanimo kamo) (sekaiju e) (oshietai)
(Kami no omowaku) (fukaku aru no ni) 5-70
In what way, the world I want to teach.

That unaware of it, the world, where everyone is,
how dangerous, they are thinking

What danger can there be?
(Nanimo kamo) (yorozu no koto o) (dandan to)
(Yute inagara) (wakaritaru nashi) 5-73
In whatever, all of everything, step by step
is said to exist, there is no understanding.
(Korekara wa) (dozo shinjitsu) (mune no uchi)
(Hayaku sumasuru) (moyo shite kure) 5-74
From now on, please have sincerity. The innermost heart
quickly purify. Prepare for it and come.
(Sekaiju) (oku no hito de) (aru karani)
(Kore sumasuru ga) (mutsukashii koto) 5-75
In the world, there are many people that exist.
This purification is difficult.
(Ika hodoni) (mutsukashi koto to) (yuta tote)
(Waga kokoro yori) (shinjitsu o miyo) 5-76
However difficult things are said to be,
From your own mind, see the truth.
(Kono kokoro) (sumushi wakarita) (koto naraba)
(Sono mama mieru) (koto de aru nari) 5-77
This mind, purified and understood, if this happens
by itself it will be seen of this matter.
(Nichinichi ni) (Kami no shinjitsu) (hataraki o)
(Shiritaru mono wa) (sarani arumai) 5-78
Day by day, God’s truth of the workings
knowing person, furthermore does not exist.
(Nani nitemo) (Kami no juyo to) (yu mono wa)
(Mezurashi koto o) (shite miseru de na 5-79
In whatever matters, God’s blessings it is said
marvelous things would be done and seen.
(Dono yona) (mezurashi koto to) (yuta tote)
(Kami no suru koto) (nasu koto bakari) 5-80
Whatever marvelous things that are said.
What will God do, or has done only.
(Imamade wa) (nani yono koto mo) (shirenanda)
(Choto miekaketa) (hoso michisuji) 5-81
Until now, you have known nothing.
Just a little is now seen, a narrow path.
(Kono michi o) (dandan shitoi) (iku naraba)
(Nandemo muko ni) (mieru honmichi) 5-82
This path, step by step If you follow it
Certainly, over there, is seen the main path.
(Koremade ni) (torite kitaru) (michisuji wa)
(Kara mo nihon mo) (wakari nai node) 5-83
Until now, you have passed through a path,
where kara and nihon, do not understand.
(Konosaki wa) (nanbo kara ya to) (yuta tote)
(Nihonga makeru) (tameshi nai zo ya) 5-84
Hereafter, however difficult kara is said to be,
Nihon losing example, will be nonexistent.
(Kono yo no) (moto hajimari no) (ne o horaso)
(Chikara aru nara) (horikirite miyo) 5-85
This world’s Origin beginning root, dig it up.
If you have the strength, dig it up and see.
(Kono ne o) (horikiri saika)( shitaru nara)
(Dono yona mono mo) (kanau mono nashi) 5-86
This root, If you certain dig it up.
whatever kind of things, will come true.
(Shikato kike) (kuchi de yutemo) (omotemo)
(Doko de yutemo) (omotaru tote) 5-87
Listen carefully, the mouth said, or thinking
where it is said, or thought.
(Sono mamani) (kayashi to yu wa) (kono koto ya)
(Kami ga shirizoku) (mina shochi seyo) 5-88

Summary Chapter 5
There has been stories of people regressing to cows and animals if they are evil (karma), but God will now begin to show you your future in this life time. Ponder over any illness.
Every mind is different from one another. God will begin to distinguish our minds, and distinguish it between good and evil. We must ponder over any illness.
Dust in our minds is what causes illness. We must remove greed, arrogance, covetousness, miserliness, and self love from our minds.
There is no illness that cannot be cured. One must remove evil from the mind.
God’s blessings originate from the mind that has true sincerity (pure mind).
God will prepare the early followers by guiding them with illness. They will come to the residence to inquire about their illness. God’s teachings will be given, and they will be healed as they purify their minds. God is preparing them to perform the prayer (Joyous Service).
Magical rites that were effective before will not work anymore, even though it was God that had made them effective. From now on it is the mind that has true sincerity that will bring upon God’s blessings
Digging refers to the process of removing evil (greed, arrogance, self love, covetousness, and miserliness)from the mind. When this occurs, one will find a pure mind or the original pure mind.
Narrow path is when we commit to spreading the truth and praying with a pure (sincere) mind
Pray will true sincerity. Our prayers(Joyous Service) will reach people over a thousand leagues away. God will bring people (nihon) to us to save. God wants us to share our joy with others.
God uses the example of a tree in describing the difference between nihon and Kara. He says that nihon is like the roots of a tree, and kara is like the branches of the same tree. He tells us that the branches can be easily broken, while the roots continue to grow because it is closer to the origin of the tree. God tells us we must know the origin, more specifically the original pure mind.
When God begins to work, the people of nihon will never lose to the people of kara
God says to uncover the original mind which is pure without greed, arrogance, covetousness, miserliness, and self love. When this happens, one will become spirited;
God will also be spirited when all mankind is purified.
