In this wide world, within the country,
stones or standing trees are there none. (new members)?
Hiroi sekai ya kuni naka ni,
ishi mo tachiki mo nai kai na.
Marvelous construction, I will do,
to anyone, asking a favor, I do not do.
Fushigina fushin o suru naredo,
Tare ni tanomi wa kaken dena.
All step by step, from the world,
coming, it will be accomplished.
Mina dandan to sekai kara,
Yorikita koto nara dekete kuru.
Greedy mind forgetting,
carefully the mind, determine (settle) it.
Yoku no kokoro o uchiwasure,
tokuto kokoro o sadame kake.
However long one may hesitate to reach a decision, (to spread the teaching)
From within, It will never be accomplished (need God’s help).
Itsumade miawase itaru tomo,
Uchi kara suru no ya nai hodoni.
If free and unlimited blessings are given, do not be agitated. (weeding of the followers to purify their minds)
From what comes forth from your innermost heart (negative energy surrounding the soul manifesting into suffering), ponder.
Musho yatara ni sekikomu na,
mune no uchi yori shian seyo.
When your minds becomes clear (from pondering the suffering that comes from the heart, and not acting on your evil thoughts),
quickly, the construction begin. (spread the truth/hinokishin and pray with the Joyous Service).
Nanika kokoro ga sunda nara,
hayaku fushin ni torikakare.
Inside the mountain, entering,
the stone and standing trees you have seen and placed (the teachings).
Yama no naka e to irikonde,
ishi mo tachiki mo mite oita.
This tree to cut, that rock (to pick)
God’s thinking, is dependent on the heart (of the person who prays)
Kono ki kiro ka ano ishi to
omoedo Kami no mune shidai.
This time, everyone (prayers),
has completely purified, the innermost hearts
Kono tabi ichiretsuni,
sumikiri mashita ga mune no uchi.

Summary of Song 9: We must remove greed from our minds and go out to spread God’s truth of the Soul and tell people that God will guide them to purify their minds. If we do not spread the truth and have a pure mind, our prayers will not bring people to our places of worship.
