*construction refers to spreading the teachings to save others

Night after night, here to, you have arrived to come.

True salvation is, from now on.

*spreading the truth to save the world will occur now

 

(Itsumo waraware) (soshirarete)

(mezurashi tasuke o) (suru hodoni)  3-5

Always ridiculed, and slandered.

Marvelous salvation to, do because,

 

(Murini negai wa) (shite kurena)

(hitosuji gokoro ni) (narite koi)  3-6

Unreasonable prayers, to do to come not.

*not to make selfish prayers

Resolute mind, become and come.

*have a pure mind to perform the Youki-tsutome

 

(Nandemo) (kore kara) (hitosujini)

(Kami ni motarete) (yuki masuru)  3-7

Whatever happens, from now on, be resolute.

*have pure mind, and not to be afraid to save others

 

(Yamu hodo tsurai) (koto wa nai)

(washi mo kore kara) (hinokishin)  3-8

Extent of falling ill difficult, matter not to be. 

*God’s guidance not to be difficult to bear. It is to help.

I too also from now on, will spread God’s truths.

*tell people about God’s working of guidance to purify the mind, so they can understand God’s guidance is to help them, although it may be initially painful

(moto no Kami to wa) (shirananda)  3-9

Until now, I have believed, have done although,

the God of the Origin, I did not know.

*people doubtful of what God was telling them

 

(Kono tabi) (arawareta) 

(jitsu no Kami niwa) (soi nai)  3-10

This time, it has been revealed (illness as guidance).

*God’s guidance appears with the performance of the Youki-tsutome to the people who the early followers spread the teachings to

The True God, doubt there is not.

Summary of Song 3: Talking about spreading God’s truth to the world. This is called hinokishin. Tell them of God’s teachings, and what working God will do to help one understand the teachings. God will place illness as guidance to do this.
