Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be like the celebrities that sit court side during the Lakers basketball games? Do their emotions rise higher with the game on the line, than the poor souls who sit on the nose bleed sections?
In many religions, there are special places that people pilgrimage to pay respect to God. Even in churches, they have figures or statues that are worshiped. Does it matter how far we are from the object or place we pray to? Does sitting closer at the front of the church bring one closer to God? Does an inch or a foot make a difference? How about praying from a distance of thousands of miles away? Do we have to make that special pilgrimage for God to bless us?
The holy places remain important no matter where we pray from. Distance does not lessen the sincerity of our prayer. Those who pray from far have the same effect as those who pray from near. Time and distance have no relevance to God. It is only the sincerity of the mind that matters to God. Know the origin that mankind was created to live a joyous life.
