Just today I saw two baby birds who were being taken care by their mother. I thought to myself  how in nature animals protect and nurture their young. Science would explain this phenomenon as instinct to take care of their off springs. I believe that humans also have this instinct; but our cerebral system gives us the ability to override our instincts for better or worse. For example child abuse and abortion are examples of our mind masking our instincts. Who could imagine a parent not loving their newborn? But this is happening in our society. We have become too smart, even to think that we can ignore nature; but at what consequences to mankind?
