Interpretation:
God is preparing the early followers to help save the world. This process involves the purification of the mind by understanding our own hearts (digging the root). This also requires that we spread the teachings of the heart to others. Then when all this is done, God request us to perform the Joyous Service. When this is completed, God will begin to help us save the world.
