Interpretation:
God throughout the Ofudesaki, tells us that God will begin to work to save everyone. But the early followers were doubtful because they wanted to see this happen immediately. This is why the word dandan is important to understand. God is gradually preparing us for this to happen. We must take action ourselves before God begins the workings that is promised.
