Interpretation:
God wants everyone to be spirited. This state of mind can be only attained if one purifies the mind of evil dusts. These dusts are regret, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance.
The Japanese word kouki is translated as rise, aroused energy, an high-spirited action. But in the original church translation, it is translated as divine record, which is the word koki.
