Interpretation.

I always thought the Causality of the Origin was that God created humans to live the Joyous life. But in this instance God is talking about Kokan, the daughter of Oyasama, who was one of the instruments (sea creatures) in the muddy ancient ocean.  Qualities of her were used to create human beings.
