What is the difference between our religion and others? Are our teachings different than other religions to help people live a happy life. To the first question, unfortunately there is no difference at this time. We have our ceremonies, customs, rituals, pilgrimages, and our holy places like other religions. As for the second question, there is a significant difference between our religion and other religions. We have the Ofudesaki! What is contained in this most sacred scripture? It contains the ingredients to live the Joyous life. It also tells us how to spread this truth to the world.
In the Ofudesaki, God tells us that there is something in our bodies that monitors our behaviors. It collects our demerits from our evil actions, stores them, and releases them as negative fate or sufferings back to ourselves. Many people think that they can hide their evil actions from other people, and also from God to avoid punishment. But because of this entity in all of our bodies, we cannot escape what evil actions we have done. We reap what we have sowed. Our fates from our evil actions usually do not manifest immediately, but will eventuly manifest, sometimes in our next lifetime. We now know why there is suffering and joy in the world.
What is this entity that monitors our behavior, and metes out our punishments and rewards? In the Ofudesaki, God tells us in the first verse. We do not understand the mune. The mune is our heart/soul, and it is this entity that delivers our fates. This is why God tells us in the Ofudesaki, to ponder what comes from our heart/soul. It is our fates that come from our hearts/mune.
Do we just accept our sufferings because of what we have done in the past, or past lives? Some tell us we must accept our consequences of our evil actions with gratitude (tanno), when suffering occurs. But God tells us that we must understand shinjitsu, or the Original pure mind. This is a mind without disappointment, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance. This was the mind given to the first parents of human beings from heaven. God tells us that if we attain the Original pure mind, our present suffering, and negative fates will all be eliminated. We do not just accept our fates that come from our hearts, but from these obstacles, we we can purify our minds, and live the joyous life!
How do we attain this Original pure mind? God gives the instructions in the Ofudesaki. God also tells us how to spread the teachings to others, so they can purify their own minds.
I have published a book on the Ofudesaki. I believe it is easy to understand. It is a short book that will be easy to handout to others to help them understand the teachings in the Ofudesaki. It is available on Amazon for a nominal fee. For churches and fellowships, I will provide you a compimentary book to review.
