The Original Pure Mind (shinjitsu)

In the Ofudesaki, God wants us to understand the Origin of human beings. When we understand the Origin, we will be able to understand why we suffer or have joy.

In the story of creation of human beings (genesis), God from the muddy ancient ocean selected a fish and a sea serpent. From the existing ocean, God selected a few other sea creatures and added them to the first couple to create the perfect body to live the Joyous life.  From heaven, the Original pure mind of God (shinjitsu) was placed into the first parents of human beings. With the pure mind from heaven, and the perfect body, human beings should be able to live the Joyous life. But unfortunately, negative thoughts  have attached to our minds. Our bodies are not compatible with the negative thoughts. This is why there is suffering and illness in the world.

God’s mind, or the Original pure mind is without the negative thoughts of disappointment (hoshii), covetousness (oshii), self-love (kawaii), greed (yoku), and arrogamce (kouman). This is a mind God wants us to attain. When one attains this mind, one will have health and happiness. The following is from the Ofudesaki:

Having the Original pure mind, because single salvation exist.

Anything to fear, furthermore does not exist.   3-77

Of the Original pure mind, the mind is dependent on. This salvation,

to not fall ill, to not die, and to not weaken, are the benefits.  3-99

Having the Original pure mind, the mind ascertained. If accomplished,

any kind of protection I will do. Think about it.    4-52

For the Original pure mind, this true path, if it is completed,

the future will be promising, and full of joy.  4-77

Having the Original pure mind, the mind depends on. To who it is present,

concerning any protection, deny I will not say.  4-95

Having the Original pure mind, the mind if God accepts it,

any blessing I will show you.   5-14

Whatever kind of difficult attained illness,

the Original pure mind one attains, by the breath one will be saved.   6-108

From God, the Original pure mind, the mind is ascertained.

Any kind of protection I would do. Think about it.  6-1

Step by step, persuasions, and sorrows I have explained. But

the Original pure mind, the mind becomes, one is saved.  6-118

The mind on the occasion from the Original pure mind, if understood,

Anything fearful also, dangerous also, will be nonexistent.  6-122

The Original pure mind, the mind if you have it, God

firmly assures to do salvation.  7-84

The mind on the occasion that God accepts the Original pure mind,

any salvation all will be assured.  8-45

What kind of person, if God, the Original pure mind

accepts, all will be saved.   8-55

About the mind, the Original pure mind is understood and settled,

in all situations God will hold you (to protect you).  10-102

The Original pure mind in the mind, if it truly exist,

whatever salvation, there is no failure instance.  13-71

For the Original pure mind, the mind thoroughly is replaced.

With that, God will immediately accept (your prayers).  17-15

Summary of shinjitsu:

The removal of disappointment, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance from your mind, will bring you health and happiness. This is the Original pure mind. This mind will only bring you happiness and health. This is what we must test first on ourselves. Then we must spread the truth of shinjitsu to the world. This is the simple truths of the Ofudesaki.

Without understanding shinjitsu, one will not be able to understand the Ofudesaki, God’s teachings. The simple truth is that if you attain this mind, you will attain health and happiness. If one wants to understand the reasoning, and how to attain the Original pure mind, read the most accurate English translation of the Ofudesaki, the most sacred scripture in the world.
