If you have cancer or any serious disease. It does not matter how long you pray, what you promise to God, or donate to the church, you will not be healed by God. This may surprise people, who believe that God has the power to heal us, and remove our sufferings. But God has given us the instrument to heal ourselves. We have our own minds that can heal any sufferings. Let me explain. In the beginning God created the perfect body from the existing sea creatures in the ancient muddy ocean. The perfect body includes our brains , that help us reason and understand God’s teachings. Into the minds of the first couple, God added the pure thoughts of God from heaven. Through evolution we are who we are. With the pure mind, and the perfect body, we should be able to live a happy and healthy life. But negative thoughts have infested our minds. Our perfect body is not compatible with this type of mind that has negative thoughts. This is why suffering appears in our lives. God wants us to attain the pure mind like the mind given to the first couple. The pure mind brings upon only health and happiness from our own soul. This includes the elimination of any serious illness.
God will not heal you
How do we attain the pure mind? We must understand the soul, which God tells us we do not understand in the first verse of the Ofudesaki, the most sacred scripture in the world. Let’s talk about the soul that God tells us we do not understand. Most people believe that we exist for eternity because of our own soul. When our physical body dies, it is the soul that leaves the body to go to the next destination, whether it be heaven, or back to earth to begin a new life. But God tells us that it is our own soul while in our bodies that monitors our behavior. It collects our demerits from acting on our negative thoughts, stores them, and eventually manifest these demerits back to us as suffering when the right opportunity arises. This opportunity to manifest the fate may not appear until the next life. Our soul when our body dies, takes our fates and their associated thoughts to our next destination. Our memories may be erased, but our thoughts and associated fates are carried to the next destination by our souls. Death does not give us a clean slate to start over. Now we know why suffering and joy occur in the world. What do we do when suffering occurs?
When cancer or any serious illness appears, are we just to suffer because we have created it ourselves by our past actions. God tells us we do not have to suffer, if we remove our negative thoughts attached to the suffering. Some people will say by performing the Youki-tsutome-tsutome, God helps us sweep our negative thoughts. But according to the Ofudesaki, they are wrong. This Service is not meant for that purpose. Then how do we remove our negative thoughts? God tells us when suffering occurs from our own soul, do not blame the messenger of the negative fate, or do not blame God. Instead to ponder one’s own mind for the negative thoughts that may be associated with the fate that has been manifested. God tells us not to act on these thoughts when suffering occurs. This is how we eventually purify our minds, and remove the negative fates associated with the negative thoughts. With the mind purified, only health and happiness will come from our souls, including the elimination of any suffering. Cancer or any serious illness can be cured!
This is the information we must spread to the world. It is about the soul that must convey to people, especially to those who are suffering. Only when their minds are purified will their illness subside.
Many in Tenrikyo will say I am wrong, and that the sazuke is meant to heal the sick, to introduce them to the teachings. Yes and no to their assertion. I will explain in my next post.

どうすれば純粋な 脳 (mind)を得ることができるのだろうか？世界で最も神聖な経典である『おふでさき』の最初の節で、神が私たちに理解できないと教えている魂について理解しなければならない。それでは、神が私たちに理解できないと教えている魂について話そう。ほとんどの人は、私たちが永遠に存在するのは自分の魂のおかげだと信じている。肉体が死ぬと、魂が肉体を離れて次の目的地（天国であれ、地上に戻って新しい人生を始めるのであれ）に行く。しかし神は、私たちの行動を監視しているのは、肉体にいる私たち自身の魂であると教えている。否定的な考えに基づいて行動したことによる私たちのデメリットを集め、それを蓄積し、適切な機会が訪れたときに、最終的にそのデメリットを苦しみとして私たちに現すのだ。この運命が現れる機会は、来世まで現れないかもしれない。 私たちの肉体が死ぬと、魂が私たちの運命とそれに関連する思考を次の目的地に運ぶ。記憶は消えても、思考とそれに関連する運命は魂によって次の目的地に運ばれる。死は私たちに白紙に戻ってやり直す機会を与えてはくれないのだ。さて、私たちはなぜこの世に苦しみと喜びが生じるのかを知っている。 苦しみが生じたとき、私たちはどうすればいいのだろうか？
ガンや深刻な病気が現れたとき、私たちはただ苦しむしかないのだろうか。神は、その苦しみにまつわる否定的な思いを取り除けば、苦しむ必要はないと教えている。陽気づとめ」をすることで、神様はマイナス思考を一掃してくださると言う人もいる。しかし、おふでさきによれば、それは間違いである。このおつとめはそのためにあるのではありません。では、どうすればネガティブな思いを取り除くことができるのでしょうか。自分の魂に苦しみが生じた時、その負の運命の使者を責めたり、神を責めたりしてはならない。その代わりに、現れた運命に関連しているかもしれない否定的な思考について、自分自身の 脳 (mind) を熟考しなさい。神は、苦しみが起きても、そのような思いで行動しないようにと教えている。こうして私たちはやがて 脳 (mind) を浄化し、否定的な思いに関連する否定的な運命を取り除いていくのです。心が浄化されれば、苦しみがなくなることを含め、魂からは健康と幸福だけがもたらされる。ガンやどんな重い病気も治すことができる！
これは、私たちが世界に広めなければならない情報です。人々に、特に苦しんでいる人々に伝えなければならないのは、魂についてです。心が浄化されてこそ、病気は治るのです。
