Could you imagine if the Osazuke was effective, millions of people will be lining up in front our places of worship to be healed. But the Osazuke is not effective in most cases. Why is it not effective? Oyasama would of surely used it to heal her children Shuji, and Kokan if it was effective.
In my personal life, I have not seen it to be effective. My mother used to often perform the Osazuke to the Japanese people in the community, but I did not see any major changes in their health condition. When my father was dying in a hospital, my mother performed the Osazuke on him, but he passed away. I even remember the Bishop performed the Osazuke without any results. So why are we performing the Osazuke?
I remember when my sister inlaw had cancer, my mother would pray and perform the Osazuke on her many times, but she eventually passed away. I heard my mother say that because of the Osazuke, she had peacefully passed away, and she looked beautiful in the casket. Her comments still resonate in my mind, when I see people performing the sazuke.
Because of this, I was curious why the sazuke does not work most of the times. In the Ofudesaki, God talks about God’s guidance that will help people understand what negative thoughts are in their minds. God places illness as guidance to help people understand what negative dusts are in their minds by the illness given. It is these illnesses that are healed by the Osazuke, to help people understand God’s guidance. If you doubt this, look in the Ofudesaki where God says about healing, guidance as illness is mentioned. The Osazuke does not work on existing illnesses like cancer that people may already have. Why does it not work? I believe that these people are on medicine, and other therapies, and if they are healed, they would only say that the doctors and medicine cured them, and shrug off the effects of the sazuke, and the teachings that were given to them.
Also if you look at the history of Tenrikyo, Oyasama did not cure people immediately like Jesus Christ in the streets. But people came to the residence to be cured, after they heard of the teachings. She went out to teach people about the soul, pure mind, and God’s guidance to help them understand what their own soul does to purify the mind. These are the people that God placed illness upon. These are the people that the sazuke will work upon.
In conclusion, the Osazuke is part of the construction to save the world. These are the steps we must take before performing the sazuke.
- Purify our own mind by understanding the soul
- Spread the teaching of the soul, pure mind, and God’s guidance to others.
- Perform the Youki-tsutome asking God to place guidance on these people to help them understand their own soul to purify their minds
- They come to our places of worship to be healed because they understand the guidance given. We perform the sazuke on them to heal the illness given by God, and inform them more about the soul to purify their minds.
Again our religion is not growing because Church leaders do not understand the basics of what is written in the Ofudesaki. We do not know what the Youki-tsutome does. We do not know when to perform the Osazuke. Most important, we do not understand our own soul (mune), and what it does. The ingredients to save the world is all in the Ofudesaki.
もしおさづけが効果的であれば、何百万人もの人々が癒しを求めて礼拝所の前に列を作るだろう。しかし、ほとんどの場合、おさづけは効果がない。なぜ効果がないのか。もしおさづけが効果的であれば、教祖はご自分の子供である修二と Kokan を治すためにおさづけを使ったはずである。
私の個人的な生活では、効果があるのを見たことがない。私の母はよく地域の日本人におさづけをしていましたが、彼らの体調に大きな変化は見られませんでした。父が病院で余命いくばくもないとき、母は父におさづけをしましたが、父は亡くなりました。ビショップがおさづけをやっても結果が出なかったことを覚えている。では、なぜ私たちはおさづけをするのでしょうか？
義姉が癌になった時、母が何度もお祈りしておさづけをあげたが、結局亡くなってしまったことを覚えている。その時、母は「おさづけのおかげで安らかに逝くことができ、棺の中の顔もきれいだった」と言いました。おさづけを施す人を見ると、母の言葉が今でも心に響く。
では、なぜおさづけがうまくいかないことが多いのだろうと考えた。おふでさきの中で、神様は人の心の中にある否定的な思いを理解させるための導きについて語っている。神様は、与えられた病気によって、人々の 脳(mind) の中にある否定的な塵が何であるかを理解させるための導きとして病気を置かれる。おさづけによって癒されるのは、こうした導きの病であり、人々が神の導きを理解するのを助けるのである。 おさづけはガンのような既存の病気には効きません。なぜ効かないのでしょうか？その人たちは薬や他の治療を受けていて、もし治ったとしても、お医者さんや薬で治ったと言うだけで、おさづけの効果や与えられた教えをすっとばしてしまうのではないでしょうか。
また、天理教の歴史において、教祖はイエス・キリストのように路上ですぐに人々を癒すことはなさいませんでした。教祖は外に出て、魂、純粋な 脳(mind) 、神の導きについて人々に教え、魂が. 脳(mind) を清めるために何をするのかを理解させた。これらの人々は、神が病を置かれた人々である。おさづけが扱うのは、こうした人々である。
結論として、Osazuke は世界を救う仕事の一部である。
世界を救うために、私たちはこのステップを踏まなければならない：
1.自分の脳（マインド）を浄化するために、魂を理解すること。
2. 魂の教えを広め、脳（mind）を浄化し、そこに現れる神の導きを伝える。
3. 魂の教えを広めた人に、神様が導きとして病気を置いてくださるようにお願いして、陽気づとめ（youki-tsutome）を行う。
4.ヒーリングを受けに来た人に、さづけを行う。
教会の指導者たちが、おふでさきに書かれていることの基本を理解していないために、私たちの宗教が成長していないのです。私たちは、「Youki-tsutome」が何をするのか知りません。
Osazuke をするタイミングがわからない。最も重要なことは、私たち自身の魂（むね）が何をするものなのかを理解していないことです。世界を救う材料は、すべておふでさきにある。
