世界に健康と幸福をもたらすメッセージとは？
A. イエス、モハメッド、ブッダ、Oyasama を救世主として信じることでしょうか？
B. 神に祈りを捧げ、巡礼すること。
C. 十戒を守ること
D. 罪を悔い改めること
E. 天国や死後の世界を信じること
F. 魂を信じることでしょうか
G. 教会に出席し、献金をすることである。
H. 人に親切にするための説教か？
ひとつを除いたこれらの手順はすべて、なぜ世界に喜びや苦しみがあるのかを説明している。苦しみを取り除き、喜びと健康をもたらす方法を説明するのは、1つを除いたすべてである。正解はF、すなわち魂である。
世界で最も神聖な聖典である『おふでさき』の中で、神は私たちが魂（ムネ）を理解していないと説いている。私たちの肉体が死んでも、魂は次の目的地へと続いていく。魂とは、私たちが何者であるかの本質であり、私たちが永遠に生き続ける理由なのだ。しかし、ほとんどの人が知らないのは、私たち自身の行動を監視しているのは私たち自身の魂だということだ。私たちが蒔いた種を刈り取るのは、私たち自身の魂のせいなのだ。私たち自身の行動に対して罰を与えたり、報いを与えたりするのは神ではなく、私たち自身の魂なのだ。私たちの行動はすべて、私たちに影響を及ぼす。私たち自身の魂がすることを理解する妨げとなっているのは、時間、あるいは原因と結果の間の長引く時間である。
私たちの肉体にいる間、魂は私たちのネガティブな行動によるデメリット（ネガティブなエネルギー）を集めている。魂はそれを蓄積し、やがて適切な機会が訪れたときに、ネガティブな運命として私たちに返してくれる。来世までその機会が訪れないこともある。多くの人が、自分の行動には何の影響もないと思っているのはこのためだ。 私たちの肉体が死ぬと、魂は運命とそれに関連する思考を来世に持っていく。死は、私たちの運命とそれに関連する思考を消し去るわけではない。私たちは、次の人生でやり直すための白紙に戻すことはできないのだ。多くの人が信じているように、赤ん坊に罪はない。私たちは、前世からの宿命や思考（ポジティブなものであれネガティブなものであれ）を背負っている。
しかし、前世から覚えていないことをしたのだから、これは公平ではないと言う人もいるだろう。前世でやったことのせいで、私たちはただ苦しまなければならないのだろうか？ 神は、人生に否定的な運命が現れたとき、他人を責めるのではなく、その出来事に関連するかもしれない否定的な思考について、自分自身のkokoro (mind)を熟考するようにと教えている。その思いを行動に移さなければ、徐々に kokoro (mind) を浄化することができる。Kokoro (mind) が清らかであれば、魂から健康と幸福だけがもたらされる。だからこそ、私たちは自分自身の魂を理解する必要があるのです。
私たちが理解し、世界と分かち合わなければならないのは魂なのだ。神はその方法をおふでさきの中で教えておられる！ 神は、私たちは真理を持っているのだから、それを世に伝えなければならないと教えている。
What is the message that will bring health and happiness to the world?
A. Is it to believe in Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, or Oyasama as your savior
B. Is it to perform prayers to God, and make pilgrimages
C. Is Is to follow the Ten Commandments
D. Is it repent of your sins
E. Is it to believe in heaven or afterlife
F. Is it to believe in the soul
G. Is it to attend church and make donations
H. Is it sermons to be nice to people?
All these procedures except one explains why there is joy or suffering in the world. All but one explains how to remove suffering, and bring upon joy and health. It is F, or the soul that is the correct answer.
In the Ofudesaki, the most sacred scripture in the world, God tells us we do not understand the soul (mune). Most of us agree that when our physical body dies, our soul continues on to the next destination. You can call the soul the essence of who we are, and why we continue on for eternity. But what most people do not know is that it is our own soul that monitors our own behavior. We reap what we have sowed because of our own soul. It is not God that punishes or rewards us for our own actions, but it is our own soul. Everything we do, has an effect back on us. It is time or the prolonged time between cause and effect that hinders our understanding of what our own souls do.
While in our bodies, the soul collectes the demerits (negative energies) from our negative actions. It stores them, and eventually releases them as negative fate back to us when the right opportunity arises. Sometimes the right opportunity does not appear until our next lives. This is why many people think that their actions have no consequences on them. When our physical body dies, the soul takes the fates and their associated thoughts to the next life. Death does not erase our fates and their associated thoughts. We do not get a clean slate to start over in our next lives. A baby is not innocent as most people believe. We carry our fates and thoughts (positive or negative) from our previous lives.
But some will say that this is not fair, for the things we have done that we cannot remember from our previous lives. Are we to just suffer because of what we have done in our previous lives? God tells us when negative fates appear in our lives, not to blame others, but ponder our own minds for the negative thoughts that may be associated with the incidence. If we do not act upon these thoughts, we can gradually purify our minds. When our minds are pure, only health and happiness will come from our souls. This is why we need to understand our own souls.
