魂や純粋なkokoro (mind) 、神の導きに関する神の真理を伝えるのは難しいと感じています。努力しているのに、なぜフェイスブックでほとんど反応がないのだろうと、何度も疑問に思います。なぜ『おふでさき』に込められた真理は、容易に広まらないのでしょうか。
私の考えはこうです。
魂の存在を受け入れるということは、自らの苦しみの責任が自分自身にあることを認めることです。ほとんどの人は責められることを好まない——特にそれが自分に向けられる場合です。責任を他人や神、あるいは「悪魔」や「悪霊」といった力に押し付ける方が楽に感じられるのです。苦しみが単なる偶然の結果であり、制御不能なランダムな出来事の産物だと信じる人もいます。
人々は、自分が経験する困難が自らの過去の行い、さらには前世にまで遡る可能性を認めることに躊躇します。誰かのせいにする方がずっと楽なのです。しかし、魂の存在、つまり私たちの行動を記録し反映するその部分を否定し続けたらどうなるでしょう？ 私たちはただ苦しみの道を歩み続けるだけです。だからこそ魂についての真理を伝えなければならないのです。
苦しみが自らの行いと結びついていると聞かされるのは辛いことかもしれない。それでも神は『おふでさき』において、苦しみを一掃し魂から喜びのみが流れ出る方法を教えてくださる。教えは実践すれば、遠い未来ではなく今この瞬間に、喜びに満ちた人生を送るための要素を与えてくれるのだ。
では、私たちはどのようにして他者に魂の現実を認識させる手助けができるだろうか？それが次の投稿で説明したいことである。
I find it challenging to share God’s truth about the soul, the pure mind, and God’s guidance. Many times I wonder why, despite my efforts, I receive so little response on Facebook. Why is it that the truth contained in the Ofudesaki does not spread easily?
Here are my thoughts.
Accepting the presence of the soul means accepting that the responsibility for our suffering lies within ourselves. Most people do not like blame—especially when it falls on them. It feels easier to place responsibility on others, on God, or on forces like “the devil” or “evil spirits.” Some believe suffering is only the result of chance, of random events beyond our control.
People hesitate to accept that the hardships they experience may stem from their own past actions, even from previous lifetimes. It is far more comfortable to believe that someone else is at fault. But what happens if we continue to deny the existence of the soul, the part of us that records and reflects our behavior? We simply remain on a path of suffering. This is why the truth about the soul must be shared.
It can be difficult to hear that suffering is linked to what we ourselves have done. Yet God tells us in the Ofudesaki how to sweep away suffering so that only joy can flow from our souls. The teachings give us the ingredients to live a joyous life now—not someday far away, but in the present—if we put them into practice.
How, then, can we help others recognize the reality of the soul? That is what I hope to explain in my next post.
