What is the message God wants to spread to the world?  God tells us in the first verse of the most sacred scripture, the Ofudesaki. God tells us that the world does not understand the soul. 

What would happen if the people in the world understood their own soul?  There will be no evil actions of stealing, murder, suicide, rape, incest, molestation, corruption, etc….   There will only be peace and prosperity in the world as a result of people helping each other. Some will resist doing evil because of the fear of retribution from their own soul, while others will understand the joy and health coming from their own souls.

Before we continue the discussion of the soul, let me explain why the messages of the current religions that they preach to their congregation. They tell us that God is forgiving for our sins as long as we ask forgiveness and offer donations or sacrifices to please God. But is it God that places suffering or joy in our lives? Why does suffering or joy appear in the world?

In the Ofudesaki, God tells us that we live for eternity because of our own soul. When we die, the soul leaves our bodies and ascends to heaven. Some believe we exist in heaven for eternity, but others believe that we are reincarnated to start a new journey back on earth. Regardless of what theory one believes in,  it is our own soul that monitors our behavior, and gives out suffering or joy in our lives. We reap what we have sowed because of our own soul that exist in each of our bodies. It is not God that rewards or punishes us. Justice alway prevails, as intended by God when human beings were created.

Some will say that they have committed atrocities, but do not suffer. Others will say that they have been kind, and good, but they continue to suffer.  Why does this happen?  Many times the right conditions or opportunities do not arrise to manifest the suffering or joy, and the soul may not manifest karma until the next lifetime.  It is the lapse of time that obscures the truth of karma or innen. But justice always prevails.

But some will ask what role does God play in our lives if it is the soul that regulates our behavior?  In the Ofudesaki, God tells us that God was revealed to help us understand why God created human beings. God wants everyone to be happy and healthy. This is why first we must understand our own soul. When we understand our own soul, we can begin to purify our minds of negative thoughts. God tells us when our minds our pure, only health and happiness will appear from our own soul. When the mind is pure, we are saved.  Because people have difficulties in understanding the soul, God has also given us instructions to save others.
