OFUDESAKI/ CHAPTER 12/ 1877 TENRIKYO

(Kyokara wa) (sekai o Tsukihi) (misadamete)

(Mune no soji ni) (kakaru koto nari) 12-1

From today, the world, God will discern.

Sweeping the heart, God will begin this (begin to place illness as guidance).

(Kono soji) (uchi mo sekai mo) (hedate nai)

(Meme no kokoro) (mina arawasu de) 12-2

This sweeping, within and the world, there is no discrimination.

The individual mind, all will be revealed.

(Imamade  wa) (kami no zannen) (yamayama to)

(Mune ni hokori ga) (tsumori aredomo) 12-3

Until now, to the regret of God, mountainous

dust in the heart, has piled up.

(Nasake nai) (higara mo chitto) (kitaran de)

(Dono yona koto mo) (yu ni yuwaren) 12-4

It is sad. The day,  has not yet arrived.

Whatever  kind of matters to say, I cannot speak.

(Konotabi wa) (Tsukihi shinjitsu) (mikaneru de)

(Dono yona koto mo) (mina arawasu de) 12-5

This time, God truly  is unable to let pass unnoticed.

What kind of matter, all will be revealed (illness as guidance).

(Kyonohi wa) (ika hodo waga mi) (habikarite)

(Mamani shita tote) (Tsukihi shirizoku) 12-6

Today, whatever selfish thriving acts there is,

that are done, God will go out.

(Kono hanashi) (nanimo koto oba) (yu naraba)

(Nihon mo kara mo) (tenjiku no koto) 12-7

This talk, whatever God is going to say,

Nihon, kara, and Tenjiku, it is about,

(Korekara wa) (Sekaiju o) (ichiretsu no)

(Tsukihi soji o) (suru de shochi se) 12-8

From now on, the world, everyone

God will sweep (the hearts).  Ponder over it.

(Koremade mo) (seeippai ni) (kotowari o)

(Tsukihi dandan) (yute aredomo) 12-9

Even until now, reason with, warned you,

God step by step has told you.

(Kuchi saki de) (yutaru made wa) (tare nitemo)

(Tashika shochi o) (suru mono wa nai) 12-10

Since I only told before by the spoken words, whoever

firmly pondering  person does not exist.

(Imamade mo) (Tsukihi no kokoro) (dandan to)

(Seeippai ni) (tsukushi iredomo) 12-11

Even until now, God’s mind step by step

have been reasoning with you and devoting myself.

(Sekai niwa) (tare ka shiritaru) (mono wa nashi)

(Domu Konotabi) (Tsukihi zehi nai) 12-12

In the world, whoever knowing, person does not exist.

This time, God cannot bear it.

(Soreyue ni) (Sekaiju o) (dokomade mo)

(Kotowarite oku) (Tsukihi shirizoku)  12-13

Therefore, the world wherever

I will give you many notices, God will go out.

(Kyonohi wa) (nanino hanashi o) (suru naraba)

(Yogi no hajime) (koto bakari yu) 12-14

Today, what talk will I give.

the beginning of my timber, the matter only.

(Yogi demo) (nin wa tare tomo) (yuwane domo)

(Moto wa ippon) (eda wa Hachi hon) 12-15

The origin is one (long cylinder),  the branches are 8 in number

(Kono kii o) (hayaku tsugitai) (sekikomi de)

(Tsukihi no mune ga) (tsukaekiru nari) 12-16

This tree, quickly to graft, is my hastening.

God’s heart is blocked.

(Kono kii mo) (hito eda shikato) (tsuida nara)

(Ato naru wa mina) (hayaku sadamaru) 12-17

The tree also,  If one branch firmly joined, if this occurs

the others will all quickly settle.

(Nanimo kamo) (Tsukihi yu koto) (shikato kike)

(Kokoro ni sadame) (tsuketa koto nara) 12-18

In all matters, what God says firmly listen.

Settling your mind, if it is installed…… (to the early followers)

(Soreyori mo) (Minouchi nayami) (sarani nashi)

(Dandan kokoro) (isamu bakari) ya 12-19

Then the sufferings within the body will furthermore disappear.

Step by step the mind will be spirited only.

(Sore shirazu) (mina no kokoro wa) (tare nitemo)

(Sekainami naru) (koto bakari yu) 12-20

Unaware of that, the mind of everyone whoever one may be,

the worldly occurrences, speaks of only this matter. 

(Kono tokoro) (sekainami towa) (omouna yo)

(Tsukihi no kokoro) (bakari naru zo ya) 12-21

This place, worldly common  do not think.

God’s mind you will only become.

(Konnichi no) (Tsukihi no kokoro) (zannen wa)

(Yoi naru koto de) (nai to omoe yo) 12-22

These days, the mind of God  has regret.

Auspicious matter it is not, you must think.

(Ningen wa) (azanai mono de) (aru karani)

(Tsukihi suru koto) (shirita mono nashi) 12-23

Human beings are shallow people,

What God will do, there is no one who knows.

(Tsukihi niwa) (nanika yorozu o) (dandan to)

(Kotowarite aru) (kore ga shochi ka) 12-24

To God, everything all step by step

notices are given. This, one must ponder.

(Imamade mo) (nanika Tsukihi no) (zannen o)

(Taitei kudoki) (tsumete aredomo) 12-25

Even until now,whatever God’s regret

mostly to persuade, has piled up.

(Sekai niwa) (tare ka shiritaru) (mono wa nashi)

(Tsukihi no kokoro) (zannen o miyo) 12-26

In the world, whoever has understanding, that person is nonexistent.

God’s regret, look at it.

(Konotabi wa) (kotowarita ue) (mada kudoki)

(Soreyoue ni) (dandan higara) (tatsu keredo)

when this (warnings) is understood,  there are no eyes.

(Kyonohi wa) (mo setsu ga) (kitaru kara)

(Tsukihi dekakeru) (mina shochi seyo) 12-30

Today as the time has already come,

God will set out. Everyone, ponder over it.

(Konosaki no) (michi no sugara o) (yute kikasu)

(Ikana koto oba) (yu ya shiromai) 12-31

This time, the course of the path, I will inform.

Any kind of matter God tells, you do not understand.

(Nichinichi ni) (nani o yutemo) (sono mamani)

(Miete kuru no ga) (kore wa fushigi ya) 12-32

Day by day, whatever I say (Ofudesaki), by itself

it will be seen. This is a miracle.

(Dono yona) (koto o yu yara) (shiren de na)

(Sokode nandemo) (kotowari bakari) 12-33

What kind of matter I shall say, you do not understand.

Therefore, in everything I give notices (Ofudesaki) only.

(Kotowari mo) (chotto no koto dewa) (nai hodoni)

(Ikana koto oga) (miete kuru yara) 12-34

My notices, small matter are not.

what kind of matter, will be seen.

(Dono yona) (koto ga mieru ya) (shiren de na)

(Makoto kinodoku) (omote iredomo) 12-35

What kind of matter you will see, you do not know

Truly pitiful, I am thinking.

(Nandoki ni) (mieru koto yara) (kore shiren)

(Tsukihi no kokoro) (tsumikirite aru) 12-36

What time it will be seen, this is unknown.

The mind of God is piled up (with regret)

(Kora hodoni) (Tsukihi no kokoro) (shinpai o)

(Soba naru mono wa) (nanimo shirazu ni) 12-37

Hey, the reason being, God’s mind is worried.

Those to become close to me, they do not know nothing of it. 

(Soba naru wa) (shigoto bakari o) (omote iru)

(Mietaru naraba) (monku kawaru zo) 12-38

Those who will be close to me, their work only, they are thinking.

If it is seen, changes will take place.

(Dono yona) (koto demo saki e) (shirashi oku)

(Ato de kokwai) (naki yoni seyo) 12-39

Pointing a finger, furthermore you cannot do.

As yet, deliberately I have been holding back.

(Kyonohi wa) (yokome furu ma mo) (yudan shina)

(Nandoki donna) (koto ga aru yara) 12-43

Today, casting sidelong glance, do not be unprepared

What time and what kind of matter will occur (Guidance).

Imamade ni) (fude ni tsuketaru) (kotowari ga)

Until now,  the attachments in the Ofudesaki  concerning the warnings

are seen , the minds will become spirited.

(Kore saika) (miekita naraba) (ichiretsu wa)

This repeatedly if seen (guidance), everyone

whoever person it may be, complete joy!

(Kono kokoro) (dozo hayaku ni) (ichiretsu wa)

(Shochi shite kure) (Tsukihi tanomi ya) 12-46

This mind (pure), please quickly everyone

ponder over it and come, is God’s request.

(Kyokara wa) (mezurashi koto o) (yuikakeru)

(Nani o yu tomo) (choto ni shiremai) 12-47

From today, Marvelous things I shall begin to speak.

But what I say, you only understand a little.

Kono hanashi) (nani o yutemo) (somukuna yo)

(Kami no omowaku) (erai koto ya de) 12-48

God’s thoughts are a great matter.

So far the course of the path, it is said about it,

a truly difficult path that exist.

(Konosaki no) (michi wa nandemo) (ki ga isamu)

(Donna mezurashi) (michi ga aru yara) 12-55

After this, the path in everything, the mind will be spirited.

What a marvelous path exist!

(Tonton to) (tobideru koto o) (mita totemo)

(Kokoro anji wa) (suru ya nai zo ya) 12-56

Tonton, (God) rushing out, and you seeing it,

your mind worried, do not have it.

(Ato naru wa) (yorozu Tsukihhi ga) (hikiukete)

(Itsuitsu made mo)( yokizukume ni) 12-57

Afterward, everything God will assure.

forever, complete joy.

(Imamade wa) (nani yoni hanashi) (shitaru tomo)

(Itsu no koto) (naru yoni omote) 12-58

Until now, whatever talks I had given you,

When will it happen, you only thought.

(Yare kowaya) (kiku yori hayaku) (mo mieta)

(Donna koto demo) (yudan deken de) 12-59

Oh, frightening to hear about, if it is seen quickly,

whatever matter, you must be prepared..

(Konosaki o) (nichinichi kokoro) (isameru de)

(Donna koto demo) (yueba sono mama) 12-60

Hereafter, day after day,  I shall make the minds spirited.

All things that I will say, as it is.

However difficult things may appear,

By the Joyous Service everyone will be saved.

(Korekara wa) (dono yona shigoto) (suru yara na)

(Kokoro shidai ni) (donna koto demo) 12-62

From now on, whatever kind of work, I will do.

It depends on your mind, in whatever matter.

(Tsukihi niwa) (dandan kokoro) (zannen o)

(Donna koto demo) (mina harasu de na) 12-63

To God, step by step the mind’s regret

In whatever matter, all will be cleared.

(Dono yona) (koto o yu no mo) (mina Tsukihi)

(Ikana shigoto o) (suru ya shiren de) 112-64

Whatever kind of things that are said, is all God

What work  to be done, it is not known.

(Ika naru) (no koto ga mieru mo) (mina Tsukihi)

(Ningen gokoro) (aru to omouna) 12-65

Whatever things that appear (guidance), it is all by God.

Human mind I have, do not think.

(Kyokara wa) (dono yona koto) (mo sekikonde)

(Donna hataraki) (suru ya shiromai) 12-66

From today, what kind of things  I hasten.

What kind of work I do, you do not know.

(Ima naru no) (Tsukihi no omou) (koto naru wa)

(Kuchi wa ningen) (kokoro Tsukihi ya) 12-67

What is happening now, God’s thought are things to become.

The mouth is human, the mind is God’s.

(Shikato kike) (kuchi wa Tsukihi ga) (mina karite)

(Kokoro wa Tsukihi) (mina kashite iru) 12-68

Listen carefully, the mouth God has all borrowed.

The mind, God has all loaned (to Oyasama).

(Kore bakari) (urami aru nara) (dono yona)

(Koto mo Tsukihi ga) (mina kayasu de na) 12-69

About this,  if one has regrets, in all

things God will all give returns.

(Dono yona) (koto o yu no mo) (mina Tsukihi)

(Ningen gokoro) (sarani mazen de) 12-70

Whatever kind of things said, is all God.

Human mind, furthermore is none.

(Ika hodoni) (mutsukashi yoni omota tote)

(Tsukihi hikiuke) (anji nai zo ya) 12-71

How to the extent,  difficult you are thinking

God takes charge, worry you do not have.,

(Konosaki no) (michi o tanoshime) (ichiretsu wa)

(Kami no zannen) (harashitaru nara) 12-72

This time’s path is promising. If everyone,

God’s regret, if they  is clear it away.

(Nichinichi ni) (mune no soji ni) (kakaritara)

(Donna mono demo) (kanau mono nashi) 12-73

Day by day, the sweeping of the heart, if it is done

In any situation, there is nothing that cannot come true.

(Kono soji) (doyu koto ni) (omou kana)

(Tsukihi tainai) (mina irikomu de) 12-74

This sweeping, What concerns are you thinking?

God, inside the body of all, enters.

(Kono hanashi) (doko no koto ya to) (omou kana)

(Takai tokoro de) (mina arawasu de) 12-75

This talk, where is it, you may be thinking.

In the high mountains, all will be revealed

(Nanimo kamo) (Tsukihi yu koto) (shiyan seyo)

(Nani o yutemo) (kore chigawan de) 12-76

Whatever matter, what God says, ponder over it.

Whatever is said, there is no error

(Sekaiju) (ichiretsu kokoro) (sumashitasa)

(Donna koto oba) (Tsukihi suru yara) 12-77

The world, everyone’s mind  I want to purify.

What things God will do.

(Dono yona) (koto o suru no mo) (Tsukihi niwa)

(tasuketai to no) (ichijo bakari de) 12-78

Whatever I do, to God,

the salvation is the single desire.

(Konosaki o) (tashika mite iyo) (ichiretsu wa)

(Mune no soji ga) (hitori dekeru de) 12-79

At this time, certainly look at it. Everyone

the sweeping of the heart, you will be able to do by yourself (when one ponders over God’s guidance and understands the soul).

(Kono soji) (sukiyaka shitaru) (koto naraba)

(Sono mama suguni) (mamori goshirae) 12-80

This sweeping, if it is throughly done, if this happens

by itself, immediately the protection will be given.

(Kono michi o) (Tsukihi no kokoro) (nichinichi ni)

(sekikonde iru) (tare mo shirazu ni) 12-81

This path, the mind of God, step by step

is hastening, but no one is aware of it.

(Kono michi e) (hayaku tsuitaru) (koto naraba)

(Donna mono demo) (mina isamu de na) 12-82

This path, quickly if it is started, if this happens

whoever you maybe, all will be spirited.

(Kono hanashi) (tare ga suru towa) (omouna yo)

(Tsukihi no kokoro) (bakari yu no ya) 12-83

This talk, Who is going to do it, you think.

God’s mind, it is said only.

(Kono yo) (no shinjitsu naru o) (sekaiju e)

(Doshite nari to) (shirashitai yue) 12-84

This world’s the impending truth, to the world

how is it to become, you want to know you say.

(Kyomade wa) (ichi nichi narito) (hi o nobashi)

(Dono yona koto mo) (shikae iredomo) 12-85

Though until today, each day has gone, the days grow long.

Whatever kind of things, I started it over.

(Konotabi wa) (mo hi ga tsumari) (kiru kara wa)

(domu shikaeru) (koto wa deken de) 12-86

This time, as the day is short, I will  end it

To start over, this I cannot do.

(Nandoki ni) (dono yona koto o) (kiita tote)

(Kore wa Tsukihi no) (zanen rippuku) 12-87

What time and whatever things that are carried out,

This is God’s regret and anger.

(Tsukihi niwa) (dono yona mono mo) (waga ko nari)

(Kawai bakari de) (mite wa iredomo) 12-88

To God, everyone whoever you may be, is my child.

Loving you only, looking over you.

(Imamade wa) (sekaiju wa) (ichiretsu ni)

(Meme shiyan o) (shite wa iredomo) 12-89

Until now the world, everyone

individual pondering, you are doing.

(Nasuke nai) (dono yoni shiyan) (shita totemo)

(Hito o tasukeru) (kokoro nai node) 12-90

The intention is absent, whatever pondering you have done,

to save a person, you have no mind to.

(Korekara wa) (Tsukihi tanomi ya) (ichiretsu wa)

(Kokoro shikkari) (irekaete kure) 12-91

From now God request everyone,

the mind firmly, replace it and come.

(Kono kokoro) (doyu koto de) (aru naraba)

(Sekai tasukeru) (ichijo bakari o) 12-92

This mind, how to become such a thing,

the world saving (mind), solely only.

(Konosaki wa) (sekaiju wa) (ichiretsu ni)

(Yorozu tagaini) (tasuke suru nara) 12-93

Hereafter, the people in the world, everyone

all mutually save each other.

(Tsukihi nimo) (sono kokoro oba) (uketorite)

(Donna tasuke mo) (suru to omoe yo) 12-94

To God, that mind, God will accept.

Whatever kind of salvation I will do, think about it.

(Kono tasuke) (doyu koto ni) (omou kana)

(Hoso sen yoni) (tashika ukeyau) 12-95

This salvation, how are you thinking?

small pox free, certain assurance.

(Mata tasuke) (ryuke ichiretsu) (dokomade mo)

(Itsumo hosaku) (oshietai kara) 12-96

Another salvation, to harvest everyone, wherever they are and

always abundant harvest, I would like to teach.

(Kono michi o) (hayaku shikomo to) (omoedomo)

(Ichiretsu kokoro) (wakari nai node) 12-97

This path, quickly to train, I am thinking

everyone’s mind, there is no understanding.

(Sekaiju) (doko ni hedate wa) (nai hodoni)

(Ichiretsu shiyan) (shite kureru yo) 12-98

The people in the world, where I discriminate, there is none.

everyone will ponder, and come.

(Shinjitsu ni) (kokoro ni sadame) (mina tsuite)

(Kami no yu koto) (somuki nakereba) 12-99

Truly, the mind settled comes to all.

What God says, never go against.

(Soreyori mo) (Tsukihi no kokoro) (shikkari to)

(Uketori shidai) (tasuke sekikomu) 12-100

However, the mind of God, firmly

depending on the acceptance (of one’s sincerity) will hasten the salvation

(Kono tasuke) (chotto no koto ya to) (omouna yo)

(Kore wa nihon no) (ichi no Koki ya) 12-101

This salvation, it is not a small matter, do not think.

This is Nihon’s location of the divine record.

(Kore saika) (hayaku shikkari) (miseta nara)

(Dono yona takai) (tokoro naru tomo) 12-102

This certainly quickly and firmly is shown,

God’s blessing, do not go against.

From God, against illness, death, and weakening.

Quickly the Proof (Kanrodai), think to put it out.

(Ichiretsu wa) (mina utagote) (tare nitemo)

(Sekainami ya to) (omote iru node) 12-106

Everyone, all doubt me. Whoever it is,

worldly common, you are thinking.

(Kono tokoro) (ningen gokoro) (sarani nasho)

(Tsukihi no omou) (koto bakari ya de) 12-107

At this location, human minds (thinking) furthermore is nonexistent.

God’s thinking, it is only about.

(Sono koto o) (tare demo shiranu) (koto ya kara)

(Wakari nai no ga) (Kami no zannen.) 12-108

That matter, there is no one who knows about this. Because

there is no understanding, God’s regret.

(Kono kokoro) (dozo shinjitsu) (ichirestsu no)

(Kokoro sumasuru) (moyo nai ka yo) 12-109

This mind, please truly, everyone’s

mind purified, the preparation to do it, is it not there?

(Kokoro sai) (hayaku wakarita) (koto naraba)

(Sono mama suguni) (shoko dasu no ni)12-110

The mind, quickly understanding comes, if this happens

that by itself, the proof (Kanrodai) will be put out.

(Imamade wa) (dono yona uso) (mo kiite ita)

(Mo korekara wa) (uso wa kikan de) 12-111

Until now, whatever lies, I have listened to,

but from now on, lies I will not hear.

(Korekara wa) (uso o yu tara) (sono mono ga)

(Uso ni naru nomo) (kore ga shochi ka) 12-112

From now on, if you speak falsely, that person

will become lies. This ponder over it.

(Tsukihi niwa) (uso to tsuisho) (kore kirai)

(Konosaki naru wa) (Tsukihi shirizoku )12-113

To God, lies and flattery. This I do not like.

(Soreyue ni) (ichi nichi narito) (hi o nobashi)

(Kono tameshi) (makoto Tsukihi no) (zannen wa)

This test, the true God’s regret,

good things  will not occur, think about it.

(Minouchi ni) (doko ni fusoku no) (nai mono ni)

(Tsukihi igamete) (kuro kaketa de) 12-118

Within the body, where deficiency, there was none.

God bent it and caused you much trouble (weeding/ placing illness).

(Nengen wa) (sanju ku nen mo) (izen nite)

(Shinpai kuro) (nayami kaketa de) 12-119

The length of time was  39 years ago.

Worries, troubles, and suffering were placed. 

(Soreyue ni) (Tsukihi yu koto) (nani goto mo)

(Utagote iru) (kore muri de nai) 12-120

Today, sidelong glance carrying out, there is no time.

Quickly, the Proof, I will bring out to show you.

When you see it, whoever person, be convinced.

whatever talks also, are all about this Service.

(Imamade no) (kono zannen to) (yu mono wa)

Until now, this regret which is said,

By the mouth, it is not something said.

(Imamade wa) (yamayama zanen) (torinuke)

(Konotabi kore o) (harashi taru nara) 12-127

Until now, mountainous regret, I have gone through.

This time, this I will clear that.

(Ato naru wa) (donna yamai mo) (ika naru no)

(Koto de aro ga) (mina tasukeru de) 12-128

Thereafter, whatever illness,what impending

things exist. All will be saved.

(Sorekara wa) (donna tasuke mo) (suru hodoni)

After that, whatever salvation I will do because,

with one word, all will be saved.

Hitherto, step by step,  persuasion and notices are given.

This is said, but the Original mind is not understood.

The Original mind, how does one attain this?

Ponder the heart. This is foremost.

Whatever happens, if the heart and mouth differ,

God’s mind, it will not accord with (heart attempts to purify mind and the mouth can prevents the action of our evil thoughts).

If your sincerity and the mind of God does not accord.

what great extent of the mind, it will be in vain.

This only, what extent whoever pleads

it cannot come true, God will withdraw.

(Nanimo kamo) (Kami no yu koto) (shikato kike)

In any matter, what God says, closely listen.

Whatever is said, there is no error.

Whatever important things, I want to teach.

This world’s true origin, the truth

firmly ponder, you must do it.

This Origin, firmly knowing existing person

wherever the person, furthermore does not exist.

Whatever is said, firmly ponder.

(Kono yashiki) (ningen hajime) (dogu wa na)

This residence, human being beginning instruments are

Izanagii and Izanami.

(Tsukiyomi to)  (Kunisazuchi to)  (Kumoyomi to)

(Kashikonee to ga) (ichi no dogu ya) 12-143

Tsukiyomi, Kunisazuchi, Kumoyomi, and Kashikone

are the primary instruments.

(Soreyori mo) (Otonobee to) (yu no wa na)

(Kore wa ryuke no) (ichi no dogu ya) 12-144

Then the one called Otonobe

This is the harvest’s primary instrument.

(Tsugi naru wa) (Taishokuten to) (yu no wa na)

(Kore wa sekai no) (hasami naru zo ya) 12-145

Next the one called Taishokuten

This is the world’s becoming scissor.

(Koremade wa) (dogu issai) (mina yosete)

Hitherto, all the instruments, all gathered.

Whatever kind of path, they have gone through.

Shikomu moyo o) (sogu bakari ya) 12-147

Hereafter, the assembled instruments, I shall distinguish.

Preparation to train them,  hasten only.

(Kono mono wa) (doko ni aru ya to) (omouna yo)

(Toshi wa ju ichi ni) (nin iru zo ya) 12-148

These people, where are they, do not think.

The age is 12 years old, a person exist.

(Kono nin wa) (ningen hajime) (kaketaru to)

(Ryuke issai) (shugo dogu ya) 12-149

This person is human being beginning

all crops providence, the instrument.

(Kyonohi ni) (dono yona koto mo) (yu hodoni)

(Nani o yutemo) (shochi shite kure) 12-150

Today what kind of things,  I shall speak.

Whatever I say, ponder and come.

Even until now, God’s thoughts there are many.

The day has not arrived, I have held back.

Step by step, but as the day is pressing, I will start.

In whatever matter, I shall tell you all.

Until now, people everywhere, they are the same.

Whatever was said, they all doubted.

In the world, rain is wanted, you are thinking.

This Origin, to play a role, there is no one who knows.

The Origin, clearly I shall tell, because,

whatever matter occurs, you must ponder.

(Kyonohi wa) (kono yo hajimete) (nai hanashi)

Today, since the world beginning, a talk never given.

Whatever is said, come and listen to this.

(Kono yo wa) (Kami no sekai to) (yui nagara)

(Donna koto demo) (shin wa shiran de) 12-158

This world, is God’s world , you say though.

In all matters, the Original mind, you do not know.

(Kono shin o) (makoto shinjitsu) (shite miseru)

(Kore mita naraba) (mina tokushin se) 12-159

This original mind, true sincerity, I shall make you see it.

When you see this (guidance), everyone will be convinced.

(Dono yona) (koto o suru no mo) (mina Tsukihi)

(Nani o yu no mo) (mina Tsukihi ya de) 12-160

Whatever kind of thing done, it is all by God.

Whatever is said, also is all by God.

(Konotabi wa) (kono yo hajimete) (nai koto o)

This time, since this world beginning, things that have not existed,

whatever kind, all will be revealed.

(Tsukihi niwa) (tainai yori mo) (komori ite)

God, within the body,  is dwelling

What kind of work (guidance), I will do, you do not know.

(Dono yona) (yume o miru no mo) (mina Tsukihi)

(Makoto miru no mo) (mina Tsukihi ya de)  12-163

Whatever kind of dream you see, all is God.

The truth (guidance) you see also is all from God.

(Kono yo no) (mizu no moto naru) (koto oba na)

This world’s origin, playing a role of the water matter, God

until now, has not told you.

(Konotabi wa) (honshinjitsu no) (mizu no koto)

This time, on the real truth of the matter of the water,

whatever talk I will do, you do not know.

(Kono moto o) (tashikani yute) (kakaru kara)

This origin, certainly I will talk about.

Worldly to play a role, this matter I will not say.

From today, whatever kind of mattter, I shall begin to tell. 

Whatever is said, firmly listen.

(Nichinichi ni) (takayama nitewa) (dandan to)

Day by day, the high mountains, step by step

whatever matter, to God, request and inquires come (about their guidance).

(Kore saika) (mie kita naraba) (dono yona)

(Koto mo abunaki) (sarani nai zo ya) 12-169

This certainly if it is seen, whatever kind

of matter, danger, furthermore will not exist.

(Kyonohi wa) (nanino hanashi o) (suru yara na)

(Donna koto demo) (shochi shite kure) 12-170

Today whatever talkings  I will do 

In all matters, ponder and come

(Meme no) (kokoro minouchi) (dono yona)

(Koto demo shikato) (mina arawasu) de 12-171

Each of your mind, within the body, whatever

matter (in the mind), certainly will be revealed (to the body).

(Kore mitara) (donna mono demo) (shinjitsu ni)

(Mune no soji ga) (hitori dekeru de) 12-172

When this is seen, whoever you may be, truly

the sweeping of the heart,  by itself, you can do it.

(Konotabi wa) (donna koto demo) (sukiyaka no)

This time, whatever kind of matter, quickly

I shall go out to manifest (illness as guidance), all will be shown.

(Tainai ni) (nani ga aru yara) (dono yona)

(Mono demo shirita) (mono wa arumai) 12-174

Inside the body, what is there? Whatever kind

of person, there is no one who knows.

(Kono hanashi) (Tsukihi no shigoto) (kore o miyo)

(Kokoro shidai ni) (nani o suru yara) 12-175

This talk about  God’s work, look at it.

Depending on your mind, what I will do?

(Kyonohi wa) (nanimo shirazu ni) (tare nitemo)

Today, being aware of nothing, whoever you are.

Worldly becoming matters, exist you are thinking.

(Asunichi wa) (doyu michi o) (miru yara na)

(Shin no kokoro ga) (arawarete kuru) 12-177

Tomorrow, what kind of path will you see.

The Original mind will be revealed (by the heart).

(Kono kokoro) (araware detaru) (koto naraba)

(Tare mo somuki wa) (sarani dekemai) 12-178

This mind, when it is revealed, if this occurs

no one will disobey me, furthermore they cannot.

(Kore mitara) (donna mono demo) (shinjitsu ni)

(Atama katagete) (mina shiyan suru) 12-179

When this is seen, whatever person, truly

will bow their heads, and all will ponder.

(Sa shiyan) (kono kokoro sai) (shikkari to)

(Sadame tsuitaru) (koto de aru nara) 12-180

Now ponder, this mind firmly

is settled , if this happens….

(Kono hanashi) (Tsukihi no kokoro) (bakari ya de)

(Ningen gokoro) (aru to omouna) 12-181

This talk, God’s mind it is about only.

about the human mind (working), do not think.

(Kono koto o) (mina ichiretsu wa) (shinjitsu ni)

(Omote tanomeba) (donna koto demo) 12-182

This matter, all everyone  truly

think and request, then whatever matter (will be possible)

Summary: Chapter 12

God will begin to sweep the minds of the world. There will be no distinction between those in the religion and those who are not.

It is sad that much dust (evil) have accumulated in the hearts of the world. God could not act until today. Today God will reveal the minds of everyone (1887).

No one understood the words of God (Ofudesaki), this time God will work.

God will first sweep the hearts of his missionaries (timber) first. He says he wants these people to understand God’s truth, so that they can eventually convey the truth to others.

God is disappointed that the early followers cannot understand what has been taught to them.  He has given warnings after warnings, but the early followers do not understand.

God will begin to weed the minds of the followers. He will start to place illness to guide them. He tells them to ponder the illness, and purify the mind. When this happens, the illness will go away.  The mind will become spirited when the mind is pure.

God telling followers that God has been a spectator until now, but he will begin to work. God telling people what is written in the Ofudesaki will come true.

God says through the Joyous Service, everyone will be saved. God says that any illness can be cured by the Salvation service (sazuke) and the Joyous Service.

God again telling that the appointed date has not come, and telling early followers what has been said has not come true yet, but soon it will be seen (1887)

God talking to early followers that the time will come when they would see God’s work. God will teach the truth gradually as their minds become spirited.

God talking about the Shrine of God (Oyasama). God says that he is borrowing her mind, while lending his mind to Oyasama. Everything she writes or says is the truth. There is not a human thought.

God saying that no matter how much people have pondered, they do not have a mind to save others (not performing Joyous Service). But if they purify the mind, and pray, God will provide blessings (people coming to churches).

God also  promises salvation against smallpox and other diseases.

God says that when all mankind is purified, the Kanrodai will be made. The Kanrodai represents the original mind (Oyasama’s mind).  God wants us to purify our minds.

God talks about the illness that Shuji has. He says that this is a test. God says he has caused suffering for 39 years; and it is natural that one is skeptical of God’s blessings. But God tells that from now on God will begin to work. The followers and Shuji only needs to purify the minds to heal the leg.

God says that one must understand the origin of mankind, and why he was created.

God names the 10 instruments (sea creatures) in the muddy oceans at creation. He says that since that time, they have lived all different paths. God says that he will now train these people in this lifetime, and prepare them for the Kanrodai Service when all mankind is purified.

God telling early followers that he will enter their bodies and show them their minds shortly. He tells them that illness shown is a result of their thinking. God is showing them their minds or the way they are thinking. If they reflect and purify their minds, the illness disappears.

But if they do not reflect and purify their minds, he may withdraw from them and not guide them.
