OFUDESAKI/ CHAPTER 15/  1881  (Shuji passes away) TENRIKYO

(Kyomade wa) (nanino koto demo) (jikkuri to)

(Yuwazu ni itaru) (koto de aredomo) 15-1

Until today, whatever matter, deliberately refraining

 to talk, resulting in this.

(Mo kyo wa) (nandemo kademo) (yu hodoni)

(Oya no zannen) (kore omote kure) 15-2

But today, on any and every matter, to say because

God’s regret, thinking about this and come.

(Kyomade wa) (nani o yutemo) (ningen no)

(Kokoro no yoni) (omote itaredo) 15-3

Until today, whatever I said, human

mind’s only, you have thought.

(Sa ima wa) (nani o yutemo) (ningen no)

(Kokoro aru towa) (sarani omouna) 15-4

But now, whatever I may say, human

thoughts exist, furthermore do not think.

(Dono yona) (koto o yu yara) (shiren de na)

(Nani o yutemo) (shochi shite kure) 15-5

Whatever things I say, you do not know.

What I say, ponder and come.

(Konotabi wa) (donna tameshi o) (suru yara na)

(Kore de shikkari) (kokoro sadame yo) 15-6

This time whatever test (weeding/ guidance) I will do,

by this, firmly settle the mind.

(Kono hanashi) (tare ga koto tomo) (yuwan de na)

(Mina meme no) (kokoro sadame ya) 15-7

This talk, no one in particular, I do not say.

All by your individual mind, settle it.

(Ika hodoni) (setsunai koto ga aritemo na

Oya ga funbaru) (shochi shite iyo) 15-8

However trying your condition may be,

God will stand firm. Ponder over it.

(Korekara wa) (Oya no yu koto) (shikkari to)

(Shochi shite kure) (anji nai zo ya) 15-9

From now on, what God is saying, firmly

ponder and come. Fear, there is not.

(Asukara wa) (Oya ga hataraki) (suru hodoni)

(Donna mono demo) (somuki dekemai) 15-10

From tomorrow (1887),  God will work, it will be done because

whoever person, opposition they cannot do.

(Imamade mo) (yonju san nen) (izen kara)

(Oya ga araware) (hajime kaketa de) 15-11

Until now, from forty three years ago

the Parent (God) became revealed and began to start.

(Kyomade wa) (taite zanen mo) (iku tabi mo)

(Jitto shite ita) (koto de aredomo) 15-12

Yet until today, despite regrets, good time also

I have been keeping still.

(Sa kyo wa) (Tsukihi no hara ga) (hajiketa de)   5-7-5 waka

(Shikaete itaru) (koto de aredomo) 15-13   7-7

Now today, God’s stomach is bursting open

To give assistance, this matter it exist

(Imamade wa) (mura ya to omote) (jikkuri to)

(Mada osamarite) (itaru naredomo) 15-14

Until now, villagers you are, I was thinking. Deliberately

keeping still in my place, resulting in.

(Konotabi wa) (dono yona kokoro) (iru mono mo)

(Misadame tsukete) (suguni hataraku) 15-15

This time, whatever kind of mind one has,

I shall discern your mind and immediately work.

(Kora hodoni) (zanen tsumorite) (aru keredo)

(kokoro shidai ni) (mina tasukeru de) 15-16

Though because regret is piled up (God’s heart).

Dependent on the mind, all I will save.

(Ika hodoni) (zanen tsumorite) (aru totemo)

(Funbari kirite) (hataraki o suru) 15-17

Because regret piled (in heart) up exist very much

standing firm to the end, I will work

(Kyonohi wa) (nani o yu yara) (shiren de na)

(Oya no zannen) (mina arawasu de) 15-18

Today there is no knowing what I may say

God’s regret, all will be revealed.

(Imamade wa) (hito no kokoro no) (shinjitsu o)

Shiritaru mono wa sarani nakeredo 15-19

Though until now no one has known

the truth of the human mind (about causality).

(Sa kyo wa) (dona mono demo) (shinjitsu no)

(Mune no uchi oba) tashika arawasu) 15-20

Now today, whoever you may be, the truth

of the innermost heart, God shall certainly reveal 

(Kore saika) (mina arawashita) (koto naraba)

(Mune no soji ga) (hitori dekeru de) 15-21

In the circumstance that this is all revealed. If this happens

the sweeping of the heart can be accomplished by oneself.

(Kyokara wa) (donna hanashi o) (shikake temo)

(Nani o yutemo) (shochi shite kure) 15-22

From today on, whatever talks I shall begin

and whatever I shall say, please ponder and come.

(Dandan to) (nani o yu yara) (kore shiren)

(Donna koto demo) (omowaku o suru) 15-23

Step by step, what I say, this you do not know.

In whatever thing, I will carry out my intentions.

(Imamade wa) (yonju san nen) (izen kara)

(Ashi o nayameta) (kore ga shinpai) 15-24

Until now 43 years ago from

The leg I caused to hurt. This is worrisome.

(Konotabi wa) (nandemo kademo) (kore oba na)

(Moto no tori ni) (shite kayasu de na) 15-25

This time, by all means, This God will to

the original condition, will restore it to.

(Kono hanashi) (nani o Tsukihi ga) (yuta tote)

(Donna koto demo) (somuki naki yo) 15-26

This talk, whatever God says,

Whatever matters, do not oppose it.

(Korekara no) (Oya no tanomi wa) (kore bakari)

(Hoka naru koto wa) (nanimo yuwan de) 15-27

From now on, the Parent’s request, this only.

Other matters that will become, I will not say.

(Kono koto o) (nani o tanomu to) (omou kana)

(Tsutome ichijo no) (koto bakari ya de) 15-28

This matter, what am I requesting you are thinking.

Solely the Service, matter only.

(Kono Tsutome) (kore ga kono yo no) (hajimari ya)

(Kore sai kanota) (koto de aru nara) 15-29

This Service, this is the beginning of the world (must have a pure mind like at the origin).

If only this is realized.

(Sa kyo wa) (Oya no yu koto) (nani goto mo)

(Soba no kokoro ni) (somuki naki yo) 15-30

Now today, What God says, whatever matter

the minds close to me, do not oppose me.

(Soba naru no) (kokoro chigaeba) (zehi ga nai)

(Sokode kudokudo) (yute oku zo ya) 15-31

Those close to me, if their minds are mistaken. Inevitably not.

Therefore, repeatedly I will say many times.

(Kyonohi wa) (nani yono koto mo) (sekai niwa)

(Shiritaru hito wa) (sarani nakeredo) 15-32

Today, whatever things, in the world

knowing person, furthermore is nonexistent.

(Oya no me ni) (shikkari miete) (aru hodoni)

(Donna koto yara) (tare mo shiromai) 15-33

To God’s eyes, it is firmly seen,

Whatever matter, there is no one who knows.

(Kono yo o) (hajimete kara ni) (imamade wa)

(Tare demo shiranu) (koto bakari ya de) 15-34

This world, since I began it, until now

no one knows matter only.

(Sono koto o) (oshietai kara) (dandan to)

(Sokode dono yona) (koto mo suru no ya) 15-35

That matter, I want to teach, step by step

therefore, whatever kinds of things I will do.

(Nanimo kamo) (dono yona koto mo) (yute oite)

(Sorekara Oya ga) (hataraki o suru) 15-36

In whatever, what kinds of things are said, are put in place.

Thereafter, God will work.

(Hataraki mo) (donna koto yara) (shiromai na)

(Sekaiju wa) (Oya no karada ya) 15-37

The workings, what kind of thing is it, you do not know.

The world is God’s body.

(Imamade no) (Oya no zannen) (shirashitasa)

(Sokode konotabi) (mina shite miseru) 15-38

Until now God’s regret, to show you

Therefore, this time all will be shown.

(Dono yona) (koto o suru yara) (shiren de na)

(Mina ichiretsu wa) (shochi shite iyo) 15-39

Whatever kind of things I will do, you do not know.

All everyone, ponder over it.

(Konotabi no) (zannen kudoki no) (kono hanashi)

(Mina ichiretsu wa) (shochi shite iyo) 15-40

This time’s regret and persuasion, this talk

all everyone, ponder over it.

(Kono moto wa) (yonju san nen) (izen kara)

(Erai tameshi ga) (kakete aru zo ya) 15-41

The origin of it is 43 years ago.

a great test was placed, that exist.

(Kore saika) (shikkari shochi) (shita naraba)

(Donna koto oga) (kanawan de nashi) 15-42

This misfortune, firmly ponder, if it is done

Whatever matter, nothing cannot be realized.

(Sekaiju o) (mina ichiretsu o) tasuketasa

(Sokode tameshi ga) (erai koto ya de) 15-43

The world, all everyone, I wish to save.

Therefore, the test, it is a matter of importance.

(Kyomade wa) (dono yona michi) (mo torinuke)

(Jitto shite ita) (koto de aredomo) 15-44

Until today, what kinds of paths you were going through,

I was restrained. 

(Mo kyo wa) (nandemo kademo) (shinjitsu o)

(Shite kakaru de na) (shochi shite iyo) 15-45

Now at last, whatever, the truth

I will start, Ponder over it.

(Imamade to) (michi ga korori to) (kawaru de na)

(Mina ichiretsu wa) (kokoro sadame yo) 15-46

Until now, The path will change entirely. For it to change,

all everyone settle your mind.

(Kono michi wa) (uchi mo sekai mo) (hedate nai)

(Sekaiju no) (mune no soji ya) 15-47

This path, those within and the world, it does not discriminate

The world,  to sweep the heart.

(Kono yo o) (hajimete karani) (kyomade wa)

(Honshinjitsu o) (yuta koto nashi) 15-48

This world, from the beginning to now.

the real truth, has not been told.

(Kyonohi wa) (honshinjitsu o)( yuikakeru)

(Dozo shikkari) (shochi shite kure) 15-49

Today, the real truth, I shall begin to say.

Please, firmly ponder and come..

This talk, 43 years ago, 

great test, this is solely.

This test, what is it, you are thinking.

Solely about the Service, to hasten its preparation.

(Kono Tsutome) (doyu koto ni) (omou kana)

(Narimono irete) (ninju no moyo) 15-52

This Service, what are your thoughts?

With the musical instruments placed, the preparation for the members.

(Kono Tsutome) (donna mono demo) (shiyan seyo)

(Kore tometa nara) (waga mi tomaru de) 15-53

This Service, whoever person, ponder.

If this is stopped, one’s own body will be stopped.

(Kono yo o) (hajime kaketa mo) (onaji koto)

(Nai ningen o) (hajime kaketa de) 15-54

This world, that I began, it is the same thing.

nonexistent humans, I began.

(Kore saika) (hajime kaketaru) (koto naraba)

(Donna tasuke mo) (mina ukeyau de) 15-55

This, if it is started, if it occurs,

Any salvation, all will be accepted.

(Kono koto wa) (shikkari shochi) (sen naran)

(Kore tometa nara) (sugini shirizoku) 15-56

This matter you must firmly ponder.

Until now, the high mountains, boastfuly,

done as the pleased.

(Korekara wa) (ika hodo takai) (yama demo na)

(Tanisoko mamani) (sarani dekemai) 15-58

From now on, however high the mountains may be,

to the low valley, do as they please, furthermore cannot.

(Konosaki wa) (tanisoko nitewa) (dandan to)

(Oku yoki ga) (miete aru zo ya) 15-59

This time in the low valleys, step by step

many I see many timbers.

(Dandan to) (yoboku nitewa) (kono yo o)

(Hajimeta Oya ga) (mina irikomu de) 15-60

Step by step, to the missionaries, this world’s

beginning God, will enter them.

(Kono yo o) (hajimeta Oya ga) (irikomeba)

(Donna koto oba) (suru ya shiren de) 15-61

The world’s beginning God, if she enters them.

What things God will do, you do not know.

(Dono yona) (koto o shita tote) (anjina yo)

Nanika yorozu wa Oya no ukeyai 15-62

Whatever things  I do, do not worry.

All everything is assured by God.

(Kono koto o) (hayaku kokoro o) (shikkari to)

(Sadame o tsukete) (hayaku kakare yo) 15- 63

This matter quickly the mind firmly

settle it, quickly start it.

(Kyomade wa) (donna michi yara) (tare nitemo)

(Shiritaru  mono wa) (sarani nakeredo) 15-64

Until today, whatever path it is, no one

person that knows, furthermore does not exist.

(Mo kyo wa) (shin no kokoro o) (dandan to)

(Mina arawasu de) (shochi shite iyo) 15-65

Now today, the truth of the mind, step by step

all will be revealed. Ponder over it.

(Oya no me ni) (kanota mono wa) (nichinichi ni)

(Dandan kokoro) (isamu bakari ya) 15-66

To God’s eyes, the accepted ones, day by day

step by step, the mind will be spirited only.

(Oya no me ni) (zanen no mono wa) (nandoki ni)

(Yume mita yoni) (chiru ya shiren de) 15-67

To God’s eyes,  those who regrettable, what time

like a dream, will fall, is not known.

(Kono hanashi) (doko no koto tomo) (yuwan de na)

(Sekaiju wa mina) (waga ko ya de) 15-68

This talk, Where it is, I do not say.

The world are all my children.

(Ichiretsu no) (kodomo wa kawai) (bakari nari)

(Doko ni hedate wa) (sarani nakeredo) 15-69

Everyone of my children are precious only.

Where I discriminate, furthermore is nonexistent.

(Shikato kike) (kokoro chigaeba) (zehi ga nai)

(Sokode dandan) (teiri suru no ya) 15-70

Listen firmly, the mind in error, inevitably

therefore, step by step, guidance will be given.

(Kono koto wa) (takayama nitemo) (tanisoko mo)

(Yudan naki yoni) (kokoro sadame yo) 15-71

On this matter, you on the high mountains as well as the low valleys

so not to be unprepared, settle your mind.

(Sa tanomu) (nani o tanomu to) (omou kana)

(Hayaku narimono) (yosete keiko) 15-72

Now a request, what do you think I request?

Quickly the musical instrument, assemble them and practice.

(Koremade wa) (donna koto demo) (jikkuri to)

(Mada osamarite) (itaru naredomo) 15-73

Until this time, whatever matter, I have kept still

still in one place,

(Mo kyo wa) (nandemo kademo) (hayabaya to)

(Tsutome seneba) (naran koto ya de) 15-74

Now today, by all means, quickly

the Service, you must perform.

(Imamade wa) (donna koto demo) (dandan to)

(Iroiro tanomi) (kakete aredomo) 15-75

Until now, in whatever matters, step by step

various requests, I have made to you.

(Nani goto o) (tanonda totemo) (tare nitemo)

(Kikiwake ga nai) (Oya no zannen) 15-76

Whatever I requested,  no onewho

understand it is nonexistent. God’s regret.

(Konotabi no) (zanen kudoki no) (kono hanashi)

(Dozo shikkari) (kikiwakete kure) 15-77

This time’s regret and persuasion, this talk

please firmly understand and come.

(Kyonohi wa) (Oya ga nani goto) (yuta tote)

(Donna koto demo) (somuki naki yo) 15-78

Today, whatever God may say

Concerning any matter, do not oppose it

(Imamade wa) (donna hanashi o) (shita totemo)

(Nani o yutemo) (nioi bakari ya) 15-79

Until now, whatever talks were given and

whatever was said, it was only fragrance.

(Kyonohi no) (hanashi to yu wa) (setsu ya)

(Mo sono mamani) (suguni mieru de) 15-80

Today, the talks it is said, the time has come.

By itself, immediately it will be seen.

(Kono hanashi) (yonju san nen) (izen kara)

(Mune no zannen) (ima harasu de na) 15-81

This talk is from 43 years ago.

The regret of the heart, I will release now.

(Sore shirazu) (uchi naru mono wa) (nanimo kamo)

(Sekainami naru) (yoni omote) 15-82

Unaware of this , those of you within, in whatever

the worldly comings, only are thinking.

(Kono michi wa) (yonju san nen) (izen kara)

(Makoto nanju na) (michi o torita) 15-83

This path from forty three years ago,

truly difficult path you have gone through.

(Sono koto o) (imamade tare mo) (shirai demo)

(Konotabi kore o) (mina harasu de na) 15-84

That matter, from now on although no one knows

this time I will all clear it .

(Kono harashi) (doshite harasu) (koto naraba)

(Tsutome ichijo de) (mina arawasu de) 15-85

This regret, how will it be cleared away.

Solely by the service, everything will be revealed (illness as guidance/sign for a sign/new members to come to our churches).

This Service, God, whatever matter is spoken

In whatever matter, do not oppose it.

(Kore bakari)  (kuregure tanomi) (oku hodoni)

(Ato de kokwai) (naki yoni ya de) 15-87

This only I request you earnestly put in place.

afterward, remorseful your are not.

(Konotabi no) (Tsutome ichijo) (tomeru nara)

(Myodai nari to) (suguni shirizoku) 15-88

This time , the Service solely is stopped,

the proxy, immediately I will withdraw.s

Kono hanashi nanto omote soba na mono

Mo hitoiki mo machite iraren. 15-89

You close to me, what are you thinking about this talk?

I cannot wait even for a breath.

(Hayabaya to) (narimono nari to) (dashikake yo)

(Tsutome bakari o) (sete iru kara) 15-90

Quickly, the musical instrument bring out!

Summary:

Until today, God has been a spectator, watching the world; but because of man’s evil (not pure mind), God has accumulated much regret and anger.

God speaking thru Oyasama, tells the early followers that what he is saying is not from a human mind.

Whatever illness one is suffering, God tells the early followers to ponder and resolve the mind. God says he was a spectator before, but will begin release his regret.

God tells the followers not to worry if they purify their minds by resolving their minds.

Forty three years ago, God revealed himself and has been teaching since then (Ofudesaki).

God says that his regret and anger has grown large, and he wants to release it.

God will begin to distinguish the mind of the early followers, and place guidance upon their bodies (illness).

God talking to Shuji about his leg illness from 43 years ago. If understanding comes, this leg will be healed.

*God saying this test from 43 years ago (leg pain as guidance) is important. Illness as God’s guidance.

From now on God will settle this test, and will begin to work. God will place illness as guidance on the early followers.

This test is to hasten the service. One must have a pure mind to perform the prayer (Joyous Service).

God telling people that if they realize that their illness is a guidance, their innermost heart will become pure by itself.

God telling the early followers if their mind is pure, he will teach them God’s truth.

After telling them the truth, God promises that he will begin to work when they pray (Joyous Service).

God tells early followers, if they do not ponder over the service. If they stop it, God will withdraw.

God will enter into the early followers and place guidance on them. Tells them not to worry, as God will protect them if they ponder.

God tells people to perform the Joyous Service.

*Shuji, the son of Oyasama passes away because the early followers  or Shuji does not appear to understand the importance of the Joyous Service.
