God telling early followers that God will begin to place illness as guidance to help others understand their own hearts/souls to purify their minds.
Our Prayer
Somethings to Ponder
In the Joyous Service, there are three parts of the hand dance that is performed. The first and third parts are prayers asking God to sweep the evil thoughts from others, to save them:
Evil thoughts sweeping, save them please. 1st part
Heaven’s truth Saving God.
Evil thoughts sweeping, save them quickly 3rd part
Everyone purified, the Kanrodai
But the 2nd part appears to be out of place? It is not a prayer. But is it really out of place or does it have a purpose?
I believe that the 2nd part of the prayer, God is telling us what to tell people before we perform the prayer. We must spread God’s truth about the Original pure mind.God is telling us what to say to convince people to accept the teachings that will save them. We need to spread the teachings to kara, or the people that do not know the teaching. The following is the 2nd part:
Just a word to you, what God is saying listen please
Evil things, spoken not.
These workings of (human creation), earth and heaven representing,
wife/husband created and brought forth.
This is this world’s beginning.
Why is the origin of human beings so important to convey? In the Ofudesaki, God tells us we need to understand the Origin. God wants people to understand the Original pure mind of God that was given to the first couple from heaven. This is a mind without, regret, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance. From the earth in the muddy ancient ocean, a fish and sea serpent was selected to become the first parents. Finally, the good qualities of other sea creatures from the muddy ancient ocean was added to the first couple to begin human beings. With the perfect body, and the pure mind from God, we should be able to live the Joyous life, but evil thoughts have infiltrated our mind. This is why there is suffering and illness in this world. The Original mind from heaven is the mind that God wants us to return to. When our minds are pure, only joy will come from our hearts.
In summary, our prayer serves two purposes. One it tells us what to convey to people to help them understand the teaching, and 2nd, it is asking God to help with this endeavor to attain the Original pure mind to the people who do not accept the teachings, especially of the Original pure mind. When God accepts our prayer, God places illness as guidance to help kara understand what evil thoughts are in their minds, and also understand what their own hearts/souls do. We have a powerful tool in the Joyous Service to save the world, but only if we use it as it was intended. We must spread the truth of the Original pure mind, and how to attain it!
OFUDESAKI 13-104
This is why God started to place illness as guidance, to help others purify their own minds.
Somethings to Ponder
In the Ofudesaki, the words nihon and kara are found. What are kara and nihon? They appears to refer to types of people. What are you, kara or nihon? The definition of kara is without, or empty. So one may ask, what are the people of kara without? As for nihon, these people must have something or somethings that kara does not have.
The people of nihon have the understanding of the Original pure mind (shinjitsu), and the heart/soul (mune). The Original pure mind is a mind without regret, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance. God wants us to attain this mind. When we attain this mind, we will attain happiness. How do we attain tthis mind? God tells us we must understand our own hearts/souls (mune). It is our own heart/souls that monitors our behaviors. Because of our own hearts/souls, we reap what we have sowed. God tells us when fate from our own hearts appears, we must ponder our own minds of these evil thoughts. When we continually do this, we can purify our own minds. When our minds are pure, only joy will come from our own hearts/souls.
In summary, the people of nihon understand the Original pure mind, and know how to purify their own minds by understanding what comes from their own hearts/souls. They know by attaining the Original pure mind, they will have joy in their lives. The people of kara do not know these teachings that are in the Ofudesaki.
For many, the attainment of the Original pure mind is what God expects. But for some, they would want to share God’s truth with others. They want the people of kara to become nihon. How does this happen? God tells us we must tell the people of kara about the Original pure mind (shinjitsu) and the heart/soul (mune). For a few, just giving them the information, they will understand the Original pure mind and the heart, and will proceed to purify their minds. They will become nihon. For other, they will need more convincing. This is where God comes into play.
God has given the people of nihon a special prayer called the Joyous Service. This is a prayer asking God to sweep the evil thoughts from the people of kara who we have spread the truth of the Original pure mind, and the heart/soul. God by the acceptance of our pure mind, will place illness on these people as guidance to help them understand what their own hearts do to purify their minds. These people will then come to our places of worship to be healed, and further informed of the Original pure mind, and the heart/soul to purify their own minds. By this process, the whole world will eventually become nihon!
Let me ask again, are you nihon or kara?
OFUDESAKI 13-102
This talk is about the Original pure mind. This is the most important information that God wants us to understand.
OFUDESAKI 13-101
God is telling us that we may need a pure mind (water), if we are to ask God to help us save others to bring to our places of worship. Our prayer, Joyous Service is only effective when we have a pure mind.
OFUDESAKI 13-100
People do not understand the Original pure mind, and the heart/soul to attain the pure mind.
