The Original mind was the mind given from heaven to the first couple of human beings.
OFUDESAKI 12-139
God wants us to return to the Original pure mind that was given to the first parents of human beings.
OFUDESAKI 12-138
These workings to begin are God’s guidance, to help one understand one’s own heart, to purify the mind.
OFUDESAKI 12-137
When one has a pure mind, any salvation is possible. Throughout the Ofudesaki, God tells us we must have the Original pure mind (shinjitsu).
OFUDESAKI 12-134
The Original mind is the pure mind given to the first parents of human beings. This is the mind God wants us to return to.
OFUDESAKI 12-133
In an earlier verse, God tells us the heart is the sand, and the mouth is the filter to purify the mind. These two entities have to work together. What the heart brings forth as fate, if we do not act on our evil thoughts by way of the mouth or our bodies, we can purify our minds.
OFUDESAKI 12-132
To attain the pure mind, one must understand what comes from our hearts. We reap what we have sowed. Therefore, we must ponder our own minds when suffering or illness occurs, instead of blaming others. This is how we purify our minds.
