Why is God not working?

In the Tip of the Writing Brush, the main theme is that God is going to start working, or God is going to start sweeping our dusts (greed, arrogance, and self love) away. As I look at the slow progression of our religion, what is causing this delay?

In the sacred book, there are two verses that may explain the delay.

Though I desire to go forth into the open quickly,                 II-13

I cannot do so because there is no path.

I am hastening for the places where God’s truth is conveyed.

These warnings were directed at the early followers of our religion, but I think these warnings can pertain to us also.  God is telling us that we need places or churches that will tell the world what work God is going to do. Until then, God will not be able to sweep away our evils (greed, arrogance, and self love) from our minds.

God is telling us to have people prepared for God’s blessings (guidance). Without the awareness of God’s truth, God’s blessings may be ignored by the world.  This is why as members of the church, we need to spread God’s intentions to the world. We must simplify our religion, so that the world can see the core of our teachings.
