God’s Loan

As alluded to in previous posts, God shows guidance through illnesses and disorders of the body. In the Tip of the Writing Brush is the following verse:

If you have borrowed something from another, you will need

to pay interest. Return it quickly with a word of thanks. 3-28

My interpretation: Something borrowed is the illness from God. The interest is the pondering and purification (removal of greed, arrogance, and self love) of your mind. Then we return the illness back to God (recover from the illness), and with our prayer, thank God for the guidance.

In summary, if the illness or disorder is God’s guidance, the infliction goes away with our pondering and purification of our mind. With this purification (no greed, arrogance, and self love), our future becomes joyous.
