In the majority of religion, one must believe in an ideology or belief before their initiation of salvation. In Roman 3:23, it says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. In the Tip of the Writing Brush, it says that we must understand the one truth before understanding God’s innermost heart. This one truth is causality. The law of causality states that good thoughts and behaviors result in joy, and evil (sin) thoughts and action bring forth suffering.
The admittance of sin (cause) is important in that we acknowledge that we are not perfect in comparison to the innermost heart of God: but it also reveals our understanding of why we suffer or have joy. Suffering comes from evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) behavior. We eventually experience the results of our evils. Acceptance of causality makes it easier to admit that we have sinned. This is a starting point or a beginning of our salvation, where we can begin to sweep away the evils (greed, arrogance, and self love) in our minds. We must admit that we have sinned!
