Finding God (revised)

What separates human beings from other species is that we are able to reason. It is said that the world operates by the principle of cause and effect; every action has a reaction. This is the reason why we try to collect all the information when a crime occurs. We attempt to find the cause.

The proponents of causality also believe that there is cause and effect to why we suffer or have joy. We believe that suffering or joy is a result of our past behaviors. We reap what we have sowed. But unlike the cause that we can identify to confirm why an event occurred, the cause of suffering or joy may be difficult to identify unless we delve into our past lives. This concept of reincarnation may makes it difficult for the westerner to grasp the concept of causality in relationship to why we suffer or have joy. But there is another reason why understanding causality is so important.

In the Tip of the Writing Brush, God emphasizes to understand the cause or origin of mankind. This is the “Original Causality,” or the first causality. Why is it so important to understand the origin or cause of mankind? It is important because when we find out the cause of why mankind was created, we find God as the creator. The original causality confirms the existence of God.

The law of causality gives us our future, but it also points to where we all come from. We all originated from God. We are all brothers and sisters.
