What is the purpose of life; and if we find this answer, how do we attain this? Many great scholars, and religious people have spent their entire lives searching for the purpose of life. From a biological point of view, survival and the continuation of the genes through mating appears to be the purpose of life. From a religious point of view, the attainment of everlasting life appears to be the purpose. Since Human beings are from the animal kingdom, we may be easily influenced by religions that cater to the selfish and survival instincts of our animal ancestors. Religions that make it easier to attain enlightenment, and everlasting joy may cater to the mass, especially toward people who are living in squalid and primitive conditions now. This is an example of religion using science to influence people. But are there religions that cater toward the reasoning skills that only human beings have? Could this be the conduit to God?
