In our religion, God promises us paradise when all mankind is purified of evil. But why are we not even close to this time. We have religious and political wars; we have conflict between different races; we have killings and atrocities against humanity. The promised time appears light years away.

God tells us in our sacred book to tell others that God will begin to work. What is this work that God talks about. God tells us that he may place illness on our bodies as guidance to help us purify our minds of evil. These evils are the thoughts of greed, arrogance, and self-love. God tells us that it is these evils that determine our fate in our next lives (heaven or earth). God gives us an opportunity to eliminate these evils by calming our minds and pondering when these warnings manifest. God provides us the opportunity to determine our own fate (reincarnation or Heaven) by changing our thoughts and actions today. But is God working now?

But before God’s manifestations or guidance are meted, there must be two prerequisites that must occur. We must forewarn the world of God’s impending guidance (hinokishin).  We must ask God to help sweep away evil (give guidance) in the world with our special prayer that God has given us. But this special prayer is only effective when our minds are sincere and can understand God’s truths. This is an important prerequisite because we need to understand God’s truths before we can convey it to those who come to us to be healed of God’s guidance.

God promises that he will begin to work; but we must keep our commitment to spread God’s truth (hinokishin) and perform our special prayer with a sincere mind. All this information is written in the Ofudesaki (Tip of the Writing Brush).
