God wants us to understand the soul (heart), as it determines what happens to us today and in the future. This is why
Illness, pain and sufferings may be God’s guidance to help one understand the heart/soul.
One can accept these illness as God’s will; or one can ponder over these sufferings and begin to understand the soul and how it affects us.
The soul collects our evil thoughts, and gradually releases them back to us as sufferings. We reap what we sow. The soul helps us remove evil thoughts from our minds; it reminds us by these inconveniences the evils in our minds. If we do not act on our existing evil thoughts when faced with what the soul metes out, these evil thoughts from our minds gradually subside. The mind becomes pure, and the evil surrounding the soul is eliminated. This results in a joyous life for the individual.
But often, we do not understand the sufferings that the soul delivers. Instead of calming our minds, we capitulate to our evil thoughts, and take negative action, resulting in the accumulation of more negative thoughts. This will result in the soul accumulating more negative thoughts or energy from the mind, and further continuing our sufferings. We see joy and suffering, and we see good and evil in the world; but we can’t see the relationship because we do not understand the soul.
