In Song nine of the Mikagura-uta is the following:

Even though the Service is performed here,

there is no one who understands the soul/heart

God is telling us that we must spread the truth of the Soul/heart and tell people that God will begin to guide us to help us understand the soul/heart. We must do this *hinokishin(spread truth) before our sincere prayers are accepted by God.

*hinokishin is the spreading of God’s truth       hinoki (refined cypress) and shin (truth)
