Interpretation:
People often debate if it is the sincerity to the prayer, or the sincerity of the one who is receiving the sazuke that matters. I believe in this situation, it is the mind of the recipient that is most important in their healing. This is why it is important for us to continue to teach them before we perform the sazuke. When we perform the Joyous Service, it is the mind of the performer that is most important for God to accept our prayer, of helping others understand the teachings. This is important because we ourselves must understand the teachings before we can teach others.
