The Genesis of Human Beings

THE GENESIS OF HUMAN BEINGS, IN UNDERSTANDING THE ORIGINAL PURE MIND

In the Ofudesaki, the most sacred scripture in the world, God explains the beginning of human beings.

In the beginning, there was God looking over the world. God said, “Let there be the Joyous life.” From the ancient muddy ocean, God selected a fish and sea serpent to serve as the first parents, and added the physical good qualities of other sea creature that were in the ancient ocean. God’s intention was to create a perfect human body, to attain the Joyous life. Then, to the minds of the first parents of human beings, God added God’s pure mind from heaven. This initiated the beginning of the Origin of human beings. Through evolution, we have evolved to our existing state. In the perfect world, this combination of a pure mind, and a perfect body, will bring upon a joyous life; but unfortunately, our Original pure minds have become infected with evil thoughts. These thoughts are disappointment, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance. This condition of the mind, is not compatible with a healthy body. This is why there is suffering and illness.

Because of this suffering and evil behavior of God’s children, God descended from heaven to help us return to the Original pure mind. How do we remove illness or suffering from our bodies? We must understand the pure mind that was given to the first parents of human beings. This is a mind without disappointment, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance. The simple solution is to eliminate these thoughts from our minds. For some of us, this will be simple to do, but for many, it will be difficult. For these people, the Ofudesaki gives us step-by-step instructions, to accomplish this.
