The Worst Karma

According to the Federal Trade Commission , in 2022 8.8 billion dollars were lost to scams. Can you imagine everyday, there are people thinking to gain their wealth by deception at the expense of others. How selfish and greedy they are. In the Ofudesaki, God tells us that when we attain the Original pure mind, any blessings are possible. The pure mind, brings upon a happy life. But what happens to these selfish people who bring upon sufferings to others?
In the Ofudesaki, there are two verses that may suggest that it may not end well for these people. The following is from the Ofudesaki:
Step by step, your debts pile up. Upon that
cows and horses will be seen, because the path exist.  8-54

Up to the present, the cow’s previous path, think and look at it.
Those in high places, all become spirited.  4-18

From these two verses, God is telling us that our souls may inhabit the bodies of lower species of animals in our next lives if we commit to many evil acts. We reap what we have sowed appears to be the appropriate phrase.
But looking at the future, God tells us that everyone will eventually be saved. This is why we must spread God’s truths to the world. It is these people who have evil thoughts in their minds that we must spread the teachings to, so they can avoid unnecessary sufferings in the future.  We want everyone to live the Joyous life. This is why the contents of the Ofudesaki are so important. It tells us how to purify our own minds, and also how to spread God’s truth of the Original pure mind to the world.
