Interpretation: The world believes only what they see now. They do not see the relationship between cause and effect. They do not realize karma or innen.

OFUDESAKI 7-49
Interpretation: The mind gets purified by eliminating the dusts of regret, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance. When this happens our minds become spirited. This is what God wants for everyone.
OFUDESAKI 7-48
Interpretation: Because God wants everyone to be saved (see previous verse), God’s mind hastens to purify everyone’s mind. Remember the spirited mind is a purified mind. God is asking asking why our minds are depressed or not purified.
