We do not understand the heart/soul that collects our debits and credits for our action, and eventually releases them as our fates. We reap what we have sowed because of our hearts/soul. It is not God that punishes or rewards us.
OFUDESAKI 12-13
God is telling us that God give us many warnings of God’s intentions. God is going to begin to place illness as guidance to help us purify our minds. In the Ofudesaki the word shirizoku is used many times. God will withdraw fire and water or place illness on the individual. See verses 2-40, 2-47, 6-5, and 6-6
OFUDESAKI 12-10
God is telling the early followers that warnings may not convinve people of God’s teachings. That is why God places illness on the body as guidance, to help people understand God’s teachings.
OFUDESAKI 12-9
God always warns us before guidance of illness is placed. This is why hinodishin(spreading God’s truths) is important. What use is guidance if people do not understand it when it appears. Our prayer to save others is dependent on these warnings to others.
OFUDESAKI 12-8
God is telling us that God will help us sweep dust from our minds, and purify our hearts. How would God do this? God will begin to place illness as guidance to help us understand what our hearts do for us daily. Remember we reap what we have sowed.
OFUDESAKI 12-6
God will withdraw fire and water. Withdrawing fire and water from the body is God’s placement of illness as guidance and disapproval.

The Original mind is the pure mind that was given to the first parents of human beings. God wants us to return to this mind.
