These workings are God’s blessing of guidance upon our bodies. God is warning us to expect these guidance. God tells us that they are not illness, but God’s guidance to help people understand what our hearts do by themselves.

OFUDESAKI 8-23

Interpretation:
This translation is completely different from church headquarter. The workings are God’s guidance as illness given to the people we have spread the truths to. God compares our minds to the pure mind of God and Oyasama when we pray. If our minds are pure, then God places guidance on the people we have spread the truth to help them understand their own hearts. Our hearts, like God’s guidance, monitors our wrong actions. We reap what we have sowed. God is helping the world to understand this.

Where are the receipts?

We reap what we have sowed is a common phrase used by people who believe in karma or innen. We often tell people that their sufferings may be the result of what they have done in the past, especially in their past lives. But people will often come back with a comment that they cannot recall any evil deeds in the past. They want more evidence that their suffering is the result of their supposedly past evil actions. They often think that it will be impossible to prove, since we cannot go back in time.
In the Ofudesaki, God often tells us to ponder when obstacles or illness appears. What are we suppose to ponder? God tells us that instead of blaming others, God tells us to ponder our own minds of dusts or evil thoughts. These thoughts are regret, covetousness, self-love, greed, and arrogance. These are the thoughts that are associated with the obstacles or fates that are delivered; or you can say they are the receipts that are still in the mind. Remember, God tells us that our fates or illness originates from our minds. This is the proof. We show them the receipts in their minds!

OFUDESAKI 8-21

Interpretation:
These workings are illness as guidance from God. But before these blessing are given, one must spread the truth of God to the people you want to save. One must tell people what God will do to save them. Unless one tells them, they may not understand God’s guidance.
