This translation is different from Church Headquarters, as I translate yoki, as expectation instead of joy. The expectations are God’s workings of helping other people understand the heart, and God’s teachings. These expectations will only appear if we perform the Joyous Service with a pure mind.
OFUDESAKI 7-93
How this complete joy will occur, is written in the Ofudesaki. God descended from heaven to give us this complete joy. First we must purify our own minds by understanding the mune or heart. Then we must spread the truth of the heart to others so they can purify their minds. By performing the Joyous Service, we are asking God to help us spread the teachings to those we have sprinkled the fragrance. In the Mikagura-uta, this is called hinokishin, which also is called niogake.

OFUDESAKI 7-92
When all human beings have purified their minds of dust or evil thoughts, then God’s regret will be cleared away. When we purify our minds, only joy will come from our hearts, and God’s regret will be no more. This confirms one of the verses in the Ofudesaki that says, when the mind of the world is spirited, then God’s mind will also be spirited.

OFUDESAKI 7-91
When God sees what path the world is taking or how the world is susceptible to their own dusts, it is not unreasonable to accept why God has regret. God is disappointed in the direction human beings are inclined toward. Because of this regret of God, God has descended from heaven to save the world. The instructions are in the Ofudesaki. How many of us have truly studied this sacred scripture?
OFUDESAKI 7-90
Every path that we take has a consequence. We reap what we have sowed. If we act on our evil thoughts or dusts, we are preparing a future of suffering and obstacles. But if we do not act on our dusts, we are gradually eliminating the dusts in our minds. When this happens, eventually only joy will come from our hearts.
OFUDESAKI 7-89
God is telling us that the path we take today, determines how happy or sad we will be in the future. Most of us do not know the concept of karma or innen. We reap what we have sowed. Understand the heart, explains how and why reincarnation and karma (innen) operate.
OFUDESAKI 7-87
The preparation involves specific steps. All these steps or procedures are important for the Service to be effective.
OFUDESAKI 7-86
The performance of the Joyous Service is important in bringing the world to God’s truths. But the preparation or steps we must take before we perform the Service is foremost for the Service to be effective. What are these steps? God tell us in the Ofudesaki and Mikagura-uta.
OFUDESAKI 7-78
All our blessings depend on having a pure or sincere mind. This is easier said than done. God compares this process to digging a root. We know how difficult it is to remove a root. The Ofudesaki gives us instructions on how to purify our minds.
