Interpretation:
God wants the world to understand the heart. This is why God descended from heaven to save human beings. In verse 1-1 and this verse, God is telling us we do not understand the heart. We can purify our minds when we understand the heart!

Interpretation:
Until now we have evil thoughts of greed, arrogance, self-love, covetousness and regret in our minds. God until now (Oyasama’s time) had only been on the sidelines looking at our misguided behaviors. But the following verse will tell us that God will begin to help us sweep these dusts from our minds.

God is telling us to ponder our own hearts, and calm our minds when illness as guidance is given. God wants us to understand the heart, in order to purify our minds by ourselves. This is the path of the heart, which will bring upon the Joyous life.

Interpretation:
God is telling us that the illness as guidance given to others to understand the heart, is from God’s love. It is like our love for our children. We protect them from harm, by warning and guiding them.

Understanding the Heart to Purify the Mind

The following is a summary from one of our sacred scriptures. Can you tell where it is from?
 
The beginning of mankind was at Ojiba, where God is residing now; and where we direct our prayers.  People spreading God’s truths, this is the most important element in harvesting new members. You will see in the world, people spreading God’s truths. Having a pure mind, we spread God’s truth. This becomes most important, for the Joyous Service to become effective in harvesting new members. Forever continues the spreading of God’s truth. If this continues, everyone will participate.  Do not stop anyone from doing this, if they have a mind to do it. How remarkable will be the spreading of God’s truth. This will be one’s contribution to the path, if it occurs. The truth of God, you take it from Ojiba, and spread it to the world. This truth is about one’s own heart; how regretful that it was not known before. Today, with a purified mind, the spreading of the truth of the heart, and the performance of the Joyous Service, one can harvest many new members to our places of worship. How delightful and how grateful to understand the heart, which will help us purify our minds!
