When one purifies the mind, and pray with the Youki-tsutome, God will begin to help others understand their own souls to purify their minds. Our prayer is to save others. By purifying the mind, one is saved. Only health and happiness will come from one’s soul.

WHAT ARE WE PRAYING FOR?
DO WE UNDERSTAND OUR OWN PRAYER? AND WHY OUR RELIGION IS NOT SPREADING TO THE WORLD? THESE TWO QUESTIONS ARE RELATED.
Do we do not know what we are praying for? Ask any Tenrikyo minister, and they will tell you that we are praying to God to help us sweep our own minds of negative thoughts. But in the Ofudesaki there are verses that contradict this claim. We are actually praying for others to save. The following is from the Ofudesaki:
All assembled, quickly the Service to, do if it occurs,
those nearby will become spirited. God will also be spirited. 1-11
*The Youki-tsutome will help others purify their minds.
For the pure mind the mind becomes spirited. Ponder to do.
To God to hold, the Youki-tsutome to perform 4-49
*When the mind becomes pure to perform the Youki-tsutome to save others.
This Service, where from do they come, you think?
Those in high places, spirited they will come. 2-4
*Who is the Service intended for? It is the people in the high mountain that God wants to purify first.
From now on, the members will assemble, and perform the Service.
With this certainly, nihon will settle 3-76
*nihon are people who will understand God’s guidance of illness placed by God when we perform the Youki-tsutome.
This Service, what is it about, thinking to be.
The world to settle, salvation only. 4-93
*Again this Service is intended to save others.
These workings to, begin on kara, the nonexistent Service,

* God to place illness on kara (do not understand God’s teachings), so telling the followers to spread the teachings to them.

*We must spread the teaching to others, so when we perform the Service, the illness brought upon by performing the Service with a pure mind, will be understood by these people.

The Service harvest, quickly want. 14-85
*The harvest does not refer to agricultural matters, but refers to the harvest of new members to save.
This Service, what is it about, one may wonder.
The harvest is wanted. The Service member’s preparation. 15-52
*God preparing to purify the members of the Youki-tsutome so they can perform the Service, to attain new members.
Quickly, the harvest to attain, to begin.
The Service only to, because hastening exist. 15-90
*Again God hastening people to perform the Service, by purifying their own minds.
In Summary, God has granted us a special prayer (Youki-tsutome), asking God to help us save others. But unfortunately, we are praying to save ourselves. Our intention and the purpose of the prayer does not match. Therefore God is not accepting our prayers of the Youki-tsutome. This is why Tenrikyo membership is close to zero percent of the world population. We should already know how to sweep our own minds by understanding our own souls. Our special prayer is intended to save others when our minds are already pure!

私たちは自分たちの祈りを理解しているのだろうか？ そして、なぜ私たちの宗教が世界に広まらないのか？この2つの疑問は関連している。

解釈：ニホンとは、私たちが Youki-zutome を行うとき、神が置かれた病気の神の導きを理解する人々のことである。カラは神の導きを理解できない。
Kono tsutome nanino koto ya to omote iru
Sekai osamete tasuke bakari o. 4-93
解釈： このサービスもまた、他人を救うためのものである。
kono you o hajimete kara ni nai tsutome
Mata hajime kake tashika osameru. 6-8
解釈 ようとは、神の加護により、病気が体に降りかかることである。神は Kara（神の教えを理解しない者）に病を与えるため、従者たちに教えを広めるように言っている。
Kono michi o hayaku oshieru kono tsutome
Sekai ichiretsu kokoro sumasuru 7-99
解釈 私たちはこの教えを他の人々に広めなければなりません。そうすれば、私たちがおつとめを行うとき、純粋な kokoro (mind) でおつとめを行うことによってもたらされる病が、その人々に理解されるでしょう。

The Trifecta
In the Ofudesaki, there are 3 important subjects to understand. Most of the sacred scripture from God is about these three subjects. They are about the soul, the pure mind, and God’s guidance. But unfortunately, we are having difficulties understanding all three of them.
The first subject is the word mune. God tells us we do not understand the mune in the first verse. What is the mune?
The 2nd subject is shinjitsu. Most people translate it as the truth. But by the way it is used in the Ofudesaki, it appears to be the pure mind. This is a mind without negative thoughts. This was the mind given to the first couple from heaven. God throughout the Ofudesaki tells us to attain this mind.
The last word we do not understand is yo (u), or God’s guidance of illness placed on our bodies, to help us understand one’s own soul to purify the mind. Our prayer, Youki-tsutome initiates these guidance to the people we have spread God’s teachings to.
Why are these three words important to understand? It is because the attainment of the pure mind is most important. God tells us when one attains the pure mind, only health and happiness will come from our own souls. This is the message God wants us to spread to the world.
おふでさきには、理解すべき3つの重要な主題がある。神からの聖典のほとんどは、この3つのテーマについて書かれています。 魂、純粋な kokoro (mind)、そして神の導きです。しかし残念なことに、私たちはこの3つを理解することが難しい。
最初の主題はムネという言葉である。 神は最初の節で、私たちがムネを理解していないことを教えている。ムネとは何か？
第二の主題は「真実」である。多くの人はこれを真理と訳す。しかし、おふでさきでの使われ方を見ると、それは純粋な kokoro (mind)のようです。これは否定的な考えを持たない心である。これが天から最初の夫婦に与えられた心である。神様はおふでさきの中で、この心を獲得しなさいとおっしゃっ ています。

God descended from heaven to save the world and gave us these instructions.

Perform the Osazuke to the people who understand God’s guidance who come to you to be saved. Also to continue to teach them about the soul to purify their own mind. This is how the teachings are spread to the world.
RESULT:
TO YOU, ONLY JOY AND HEALTH TO COME FROM ONE’S OWN SOUL.
WITH THE SPREADING OF GOD’S TRUTH, PEACE AND HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD
CONCLUSION:
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TENRIKYO RELIGION TO SPREAD HEAVEN’S TRUTH (TENRI) TO THE WORLD. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALL IN THE OFUDESAKI.
