Ojiba

It is interesting that the location of the creation of human beings is called Jiba. I am wondering who started to call the Origin of human beings Ojiba. In the Ofudesaki is the following where jiba is mentioned.

Two different meanings

In the Ofudesaki, God is the previous verses God is telling Shuji that although Shuji at 50 thinks he is old, God thinking is that a future exist for him. The following verse follows:

Korekara wa kokoro shikkari irekae yo

Akuji haroute wakaki ni yohou 1-65

From now on, the mind firmly, replace it!

Wrong doings sweeping, to be young forecast. 1-65

God is telling Shuji that he is still young, and a future to save others exist. But in the Official Tenrikyo Church Headquarter’s translation is the following for the same verse.

From now, replace your mind firmly.

Sweep away the wrongdoing and take a young wife. 1-65

Korekara wa shikkari irekae yo

Akuji haroute wakaki nyoubou 1-65

The words によほふ. is what we need to translate. It is not pronounced as nyoubou, but it is ni yohou, The hiragana of ほ is pronounced ho and not bo. So the word appears to be yohou instead of nyoubou??

Tenrikyo people are good

Again most Tenrikyo people are good people. They understand that they cannot do bad things because of karma (innen) and reincarnation. But they do not know how to convince people of other faiths, and spread these truth to the world.  Fortunately on both topics, God tells us how to convince people, and how to spread the teachings to the world in the Ofudesaki.

First God tells us we must understand our own soul. The soul monitors our behavior, and brings upon suffering or joy depending on our behavior. It is not God that punishes or rewards us. This is what we must understand and spread to others. We can pray to God until we are exhausted,  but it is not God that causes us to suffer or have joy. It is our own soul. We reap what we have sowed because of the soul.

God knows how difficult it is to convince people of the soul. That is why God has granted us the Youki-tsutome. After we have spread the teachings to others, This is a prayer asking God to help us sweep negative thoughts of these people.

God places illness of guidance to convince people of the soul, and what it does. God distinguishes what thoughts are in their mind, and places illness accordingly. It is these thoughts that one will eventually act upon, which creates their fates that their own soul collects, stores and eventually manifest suffering or joy back to them.  God is showing them their future of sufferings if they do not remove their negative thoughts.

When these people understand the guidance given by God, they will come to our places to be healed by the (Osazuke). The osazuke does not heal existing illnesses, but cures illnesses given by God. They are also informed of the soul, and pure mind. When people understand the soul, they can purify their own minds by understanding what fates come from their own souls. If they do not act upon their negative fates, when suffering occurs, they can gradually purify their minds. When the mind is purified, only joy and health will come from their own soul.

This is how God’s teachings  of the soul are spread to the world. Remember when the mind is pure, only joy and health will come from the soul. This joy and health is what God desires for everyone. This is why God was revealed.

The current Tenrikyo church leader believe that the Service helps us purify our own minds. But unfortunately they are mistaken. God in the Ofudesaki tells us that the Service, Youki-tsutome is a prayer to save others. We should already know how to purify our minds by understanding what fates come from our own souls. If God’s teachings are to spread, it is up to the current leaders to follow the instructions in the Ofudesaki to save the world.

Introduction to God’s teachings

I want to spread the teaching in the Ofudesaki.  To do this, there must be something or a subject that ordinary people can relate to, and understand. I believe it is the soul that most people can relate to and understand. I have written this book as an introduction to our teachings from God. You can order this book on Amazon. Again there is no profit for me, as it is sold at the minimum cost.

Ofudesaki

In the Ofudesaki, most of the topics are about God’s guidance that will appear to help us understand the soul, to attain the pure mind.  Words reflecting God’s guidance are the following in the Ofudesaki:

Hataraki

Juuyou

Juuyo

Juyojizai

You

Yo

Shiyawase

Okage

Riyaku

yurushi

What is the purpose of God’s guidance?

The end result is attaining the pure mind of the person who receives God’s guidance.

How does this happen of attaining a pure mind?

God tells us how difficult it is to convince people of the soul, that monitors our behavior. God helps us convince people of what the soul does, by placing illness depending on what negative thoughts are in the mind. It is these thoughts that we will eventually act upon, that creates our negative fates that the soul collects, stores, and eventually manifest as suffering. God by these illness of guidance shows people their future of suffering if they do not remove their negative thoughts.

But God tells us before these blessings are placed on others one must:

  1. purify one’s own mind by understanding the soul.
  2. Spread the teachings of the soul, pure mind, and God’s guidance that will appear
  3. Perform the Youki-Tsutome-tsutome asking God to help convince these people about the soul.
  4. When God accepts our prayer, God places illness as guidance to the people we have spread the teachings to,.
  5. The people who understand God’s guidance will come to our places of worship to be healed by the osazuke, and will also be informed of God’s teachings to purify the mind.
  6. These people will then be able to purify their minds by themselves. When the mind is pure, only joy and health will come from one’s own soul.
  7. When the mind is pure, one is saved.

By these steps, we can spread the teachings to the world.

Again, it is God’s guidance that will convince the world to purify the mind. But without understanding our prayer, God’s guidance will not appear. Our prayer, Youki-tsutome is to save other people, not ourselves, We are asking God to show people their future if they do not remove their negative thoughts.

All this information is in the Ofudesaki. Lets spread the teachings of the soul to the world!

Hataraki

Juuyou

Juuyo

Juyojizai

You

Yo

Shiyawase

Okage

Riyaku

yurushi
