What happens to bad people?

What happens to the bad people in this world? Some people think that they will suffer in hell in the after life. Some feel that they will suffer the consequences in the next life (reincarnation); and there are many that believe that they will go to heaven if they believe with their last breath.

How about a combination of the above? Suppose there is a law of cause and effect, where good thoughts and actions bring forth joy in the future, and bad thoughts and actions bring forth suffering. No human or divine actions can change the consequences of our actions. Each action brings forth either joy or suffering on this earth.

How does God come into the picture?  God wants us to see this relationship of cause and effect. That headache or stomach pain may be God’s guidance to make you good. When we realize God’s guidance and change our thoughts, our minds will become pure.  Joy will blossom in the future.

The bad person will suffer if he or she continues to hurt others. Suffering is suffering, whether it occurs on heaven or earth.  If the bad person changes his thoughts and behavior, he or she will still suffer the consequences of the past actions; but he or she will have a joyous future afterward due to present thoughts and actions. The bad do not have to keep on suffering. It is with this concept that the bad may be able to get into heaven?

Whether one believes in heaven or heaven on earth, the elimination of greed, arrogance, and self love will result in a joyous world, with everyone helping each other. Won’t it be great if everyone has access to heaven or heaven on earth!
