In the Tip of the Writing Brush (Ofudesaki) is the following verse:
The whole universe is the body of the God. 15-37
Imagine each individual and every matter on earth as part of God’s body. Each individual represents a cell in God’s body. The health of each cell is dependent on each individual mind. Evil thoughts and actions bring forth cells that are unhealthy, and good thoughts and actions represent cells that are healthy (the law of cause and effect). Like the unhealthy cells that secrete toxin in the human body, the evil minds in the world releases negative energy in God’s body. The body of God is not healthy at this stage. Some of this energy may be transferred to the moon and sun, which indirectly affects the weather causing natural disasters in the body of God. Other parts of the negative energy may be redirected back to the cells causing further damage to the cells.
As in the human body, all the cells must be healthy for the body to function properly. Each organ is dependent on the others for the health of the body. It is the same with the body of God. For the Body of God to be healthy, all mankind must be purified and void of evil. When this happens, the world will be spirited with everyone helping each other, and God will become whole and spirited.
