When one understands the law of cause and effect, one is one step closer to finding God’s truth. The law of cause and effect states that good thoughts and actions result in joy, while evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) thoughts and actions results in sufferings and misfortunes in the future.
By just understanding this law does not make an individual good. Fear of the effect may prevent an individual from causing evil. There may still be no effort to help others; and efforts to help others may only be done to gain selfish rewards by the law of cause and effect.
In the Tip of the Writing Brush it is stated that first we must understand the law of cause and effect. Afterward it is important to know the “Origin”. What is this origin? This origin is the beginning of mankind or the “Genesis of mankind”. We must understand why mankind was created. We must find the cause of the genesis of man
In the Tip of the Writing Brush, it is stated that God created mankind to live the joyous life by helping each other. The original cause of the law of cause and effect was God’ intention for mankind to live a joyous life with everyone helping each other. The effect was the creation of mankind.
When we realize God’s intention in creating mankind, how can we treat others with arrogance, how can we profit from the sorrows of others, how can we take the lives of God’s creation? How can we oppose God?
Some would say that the law of cause and effect deals with only suffering. But it also explains the joy in the world. Remember the original cause originated from a loving God, a God that loves all his children equally.
