Understanding Causality

Understanding causality may be the salvation and hope for the world. Most of the world has a negative connotation of the word causality or karma. They believe that causality represents suffering in the future. They may believe that it represents God’s punishment for one’s sins. But causality represents hope. It represents hope for even the people who we think are the most despicable.

Causality gives one a new beginning in life.  Our actions and thoughts today unfold in the future. We have control of our future.  It is true that we must accept the consequences of our behaviors of the past. But these consequences also give us an opportunity to ponder, and remove evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) from our minds. We have the ability to ensure a joyous future.

There are people who fall further into despair when unexpected suffering arises; but understanding causality may give one the ability to cope with the inconveniences of life, and turn a new leaf.  Causality may be God’s gift to the world. It is the truth that will bring peace to the world.
