Understanding Causality (karma, Innen)

Have you every wondered what will bring upon peace and joy to the world? Some say that their sacred books prophecize the  destruction of the world, eliminating most of the souls, leaving the good on this earth and in heaven. Is the the best way of bringing peace to the world? Is there a way that we can save everyone?

The understanding of causality may bring upon peace to the world. Most of the world has a negative impression of the word causality or karma. They believe that causality represents suffering in the future. They may believe that it represents God’s punishment for one’s sins. But causality represents hope. It represents hope for even the people who we think are the most despicable.

Causality gives one a new beginning in life.  Our actions and thoughts today unfold in the future. We have control of our future. No matter how much baggage we have from the past, we can ensure a joyous future.  It is true that we must accept the consequences of our behaviors of the past. But these consequences also give us an opportunity to ponder, and remove evil (greed, arrogance, and self love) from our minds today. We have the ability to ensure a joyous future. We also have the potential for suffering if we ignore the consequences of causality, and behave poorly.

There are people who fall further into despair when unexpected suffering arises; but understanding causality may give one the ability to cope with these inconveniences of life, and turn a new leaf.  Causality may be difficult to understand; but it is the truth that will bring peace to the world.
