Communicating with God

Why are most of our prayers to God not answered? Are we not on the same frequency as God? There are frequencies that humans cannot perceive. For example, dogs can perceive sounds that we cannot hear. Is it possible that most of us are not on the same frequency as God?

This may sound silly, but could our minds produce energy or vibrations that are conducive to God. Can good thoughts generate this type of energy? Conversely can selfish thoughts generate negative energy to block our connection to God?

In the Tip of the Writing Brush, it states that our prayers must be sincere for God to answer our prayers. True sincerity is said to be the truth of heaven. To have true sincerity, one must have a purified mind, void of greed, arrogance, and self-love. It is this purity of mind that God is said to accept. It is this positive energy that is transferred to God.

In our religion, we have only one prayer. This is called the Joyous Service. We pray for the salvation of all mankind.  It is said that when we pray with a purified mind, God will accept our prayers, and begin the process of saving all mankind. God will begin the process of purifying the minds of the world.  This will bring upon a world of joy, where everyone will help each other.

Eliminate greed, arrogance and self love to begin the process of communicating with God.
