True sincerity is what God accepts

In the Osashizu is a quote that I find is enlightening and true.

God’s path is the path of the three- inch span of the heart; your ideas of wanting to follow the path may not be enough to get you through it. January 27, 1891

In our churches, there are many who are given the teachings, and understand it. Yet when they are confronted with temptations, sufferings, and other situations, they revert to their past thoughts and actions.  We must have a determination to follow the teachings in whatever situations arise. We call this true sincerity in our religion. It is a mind that accepts any situations that life places in front of us, and still continue to follow the teachings of God. Some may call this faith; but I feel that it is stronger than faith, because it also includes a strong determination to follow the belief.

True sincerity is a mindset that is difficult to attain. But I believe, it is the only mind that God accepts.  It is with this mind of true sincerity that God accepts our prayers.
