Why does God not stop the evil people from causing suffering to others? Why does God not help the good, and punish the bad? Today, there are people who by God’s non-action, believe that God approves of their heinous acts. Could it be that there is something more important then our physical bodies that God is concerned about? Might it be the salvation of our soul or conscious?
What is the soul? Some people call it the heart or the conscious that is separate from the tangible cerebral system of the human body; therefore, it can exist outside of our bodies. Could it be that God is concerned with the purification of our souls? And if so, what is the connection between the soul and our body?
Some say that our bodies are temporary playgrounds where our souls are strategically placed to achieve this original purification. Our bodies therefore are loaned from God. Since our bodies are loaned from God, it is imperative that we respect what God has given us, and treat our bodies, and the bodies of others with respect and dignity.
But what happens, when by greed, arrogance, and self love, we cause suffering to others? We are destroying God’s property, thus creating a less favorable playground for our soul to inhabit in our future lives. This process can purify the soul, and create joy in the world. But it can also continue the sufferings of our bodies if we treat humanity with indignity. This is why God does not stop the evil people of the world. They need to understand that what they plant, they will sow; because it is God’s mansion that we improve or degrade.
